Protank with mesh

I searched around and wasn't able to find anything on it so...

I figured I should let ya'll know in case anyone is interested.

I just did a rebuild of my Kanger Protank head using ss mesh and what a difference in taste it makes...

I rolled and oxidized the mesh, then I unrolled it and put a piece of 1mm silica in the middle. Rerolled it up, wrapped the coil 32g kanthal put 1 piece of 1mm silica on top as I was putting it back together. Only using the silica to help juice flow. Not sure if it's even needed at the moment.

The flavor is fantastic. I love it even more now than I did before.

i wanna try this. im currently using cotton wicks w/ 32g kanthal. what kind and how much mesh did you use?

You still have silica in the mix. Have to wonder why the taste would be much different

Not sure why. The only piece of silica touching the actual coil is the one on top. Not sure if that's what makes the difference or not but there certainly is a difference.
