I was wondering if anyone used the combination of a ProTank and a tank Airflow Controller? I find my draw on the ProTank quite airy and was wondering it this would fix the problem. It sounds like it might, from the reviews on Madvapes, but I didn't see any specific reviews mentioning it with the ProTank. I guess for $2.99 it's worth a try, but I'm just curious what others have to say about it. TIA.

Please don't ridicule me for my questions. I am new to anything outside of 808 cig-a-likes and cartomizers.

Tucson, it's a dry heat
Definitely works - make sure you screw it in on the bottom AND toward the base of the Protank. You'll see what I mean when it arrives. I used it at first without the second screw part and thought, "I don't get it, the draw's the same" and then ^^^ pointed out that I wasn't screwing it up to the base. Now it works great (when my Protanks recognize on my APV's - whole 'nuther issue.)

I bought an airflow controller for mine (not the same one), but it just made my Protank leak from the added pressure of drawing on it. I know some people have had success with theirs, but try to dig up some reviews first. You've got Hippieangst's endorsement, so that's a good start.

Yep, I do still get the pressure build up gurgles, but I got that without the controller as well. It seems much worse (the gurgling) if I start vaping (with or without the controller) on a half-full tank that's been sitting around unused for a while. But, if I start the day with a full tank and rock it all day (with or without the controller), the gurgling doesn't seem too bad. Sometimes, I can power through the gurgles.

Yeah, the cold half-tank gurgles get me, too. I don't know why it doesn't gurgle when you get down to half after starting with a full tank, though. It's weird.

Does the airflow controller work if the draw is too tight? Or is it only if the draw it too airy? Thanks
Don't have one but been looking to get one and everywhere I look sold out....I quess alot of people like me not to fond of the airy draw on the PT2 in my case,I mean its not real bad but I like a little tighter draw.

The answer to your question I would think would be yes...if it can tighten the draw almost certain it could loosen it.

I think I got my airflow controller at gotvapes or madvapes. I just got a ProTank 2 and the draw is still airy. Even on the mini ProTank it is. As for the airflow controller working on a tank with a tight draw, I wouldn't think so, but I could be wrong!

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket on Tapatalk 4 from my bed, most likely!

Dale, I just ordered another airflow controller online at the Indy Vapor Shop. They seem to be in stock. Tropical Vapors was another vendor that looked to have them in stock.

I used one on a Puritank, which is very similar. I had some menthol juice in it, it pronounced the flavor and TH. The menthol tasted so strong I had to cut down the juice with RY4. Just like one of the poster's mentioned screw it to the tank first. I would suppose that if you have weak flavor that you have bought it will do the trick. Is it a must have, IDK but it was pretty reasonable that it really doesn't matter.
