Protege and a 16500 AA ????

Have to admit....didn't know a 16500 AA even existed but it does and is at 1000 mAh.

Anyone know of or try it in the Protege?? Is there enough wiggle room for it to fit?

The 14500 batteries barely fit into the tube. The 16500 is 2mm bigger in diameter so I can safely say that they will not fit.
