Protege V1.1 availability

Hello!

I was all ready to order your Protege V1.1 and then realized the drop downs weren't working.

I'm assuming that means it's sold out? When will it be available again?

idk just sounds funny. =)

the future doesn't take protected 14500 cells. (which some prefer)
I've found that the aw IMRs are pretty nice tho.

I have a v1.1.

Its been in storage as a backup.
But I'd let it go for the right price.
I'm going to keep one of my proteges for sure though.
great mod if you ask me.

the icon does take protected aw 14500s...those are the batteries in the recently posted pics, but check the update on here and the ps forum for more info. the aw imr, which aren't protected but of a safer chemistry, should also fit the device.

i read that it didn't take protected cells.
steve was unsure if it would fit the IMRs b/c he hasn't tested them and they may not fit b/c they are nipple tops.
I'm compairing the aw 14500 protected to aw 14500 IMR as we speak...and the protected aw's are way bigger.

Idk...from what I've read on the PS forums, there's no way a protected aw would fit.

thats good if they changed it tho, or if steve was wrong.
Idk, I just think it was a bad decision to not make the protected batts fit. (if they don't)
BUT! .... Personally I like the IMRs way better ...but others may want the protected circuit.

If the AW protecteds fit the ICON, then I am now in also. My original recipe Proteges and the V3 are my favorite vape mods. This battery update made my day!

AW14500 WILL Fit. Last week, I made a small adjustment to the hex shaft to see if we could accommodate protected batteries. It wasn't much due to the fact that if it was TOO much, no batteries would work."
