the 6volt fully mechanical thermo is now here. they will be added to the site later on tonight. they are fully polished, fully mechanical and shiny these units are designed around a tenergy cr123a lifepo battery. 18650 will NOT work in this unit.

Mechanical units CAN have soldering, it just means that the switch is operated purely by physical movement (i.e. button pushing against battery contact) as opposed to an electrical switch. Electrical switches can be an issue b/c small switches (like needed for mods) generally don't handle the current as well. Thus you end up with switches that are "finicky" or just don't last as long.
