I saw a review somewhere and said it actually works very well. I wouldnt buy one but I can see someone who's driving all day or 10 hours sitting at a desk it would be nice to not worry about a battery.

:thumb: This. I wouldn't have a use for one personally, but I could see someone like Thrasher described using one pratically. Someone like a truck driver or a salesman who's driving most of the day, or an office worker at their computer desk all day. It would take some time for it to pay itself off v.s. using batteries.

I would like to see a Gripper box mod with variable voltage and built to the same standards of the Provari, too. But I'm still waiting for a red Provari and probably won't see that either.

It's the perfect solution to a non-existent problem. If you're dying to piss away that kind of money, it would be much better spent on a good charger like the Pila (available at Provape) or the Xtar VP1.

Can't agree more......A good charger and 5-6 or more batteries in rotation would be a better investment for power outages and just always on the go.

Thanks everyone for your input. The reason I asked was because I live in Israel and have asked numerous electronic shops here and NO ONE carries the batteries for my provari here and it seems that because of new laws about not shipping batteries abroad I was concerned about getting replacement batteries after my supply of batteries (I only purchased 4 batteries with my provari mini) go "dead".
