My purple Radius did something weird today.

I plugged it in to charge and instantly the battery icon changed from empty to full. I knew it needed a charge so I took the battery out and put it on an external charger where it read 2.89V and it's charging normally.

I put a Samsung 30Q in and it showed a question mark in the empty battery icon, same thing with a LG HG2. I tried again with another LG, and that seemed to make it happy and now shows a full battery icon and it's vaping normally. I've never seen this happen with any of my Radius (Radii?) Should I write to the ProVape Doc? Any thoughts?

Wipe the battery contacts with alcohol, maybe use some DeOxit Gold if you have some. Hope this helps.

Thank you, I will try that. I am obsessive about my contacts but I had never taken the battery out before. I was eyeballing them but hurried to try a new battery in there, lol.

Also remember that the battery icon will show a question mark until you take the first vape when you change batts. It won't do it if you charge via the USB because it has already set the meter to the installed battery. It has to read the stats of the new battery to meter right or it would show a vtc4 the same as a 25r.

Thank you! I did NOT know that the question mark was normal for a new battery. LOL, I swear, I looked all through the manual and didn't see it mentioned. I'm really glad I asked here, I feel much better now!

I wish the radius had an IQ meter like the Provari 3 has. It tells me when my contacts and threads need cleaning - also don't forget to clean the battery terminals themselves. It's pointless having nice clean contacts on the mod when the battery ends are full of crud and oxidisation.

I really don't like the new battery meter. Give me percentages any time. Also, the Radius doesn't flash yellow when the battery gets low. That's caught me out a few times.

Finally, the Radius and spares bought the day Provape closed arrived. My sister's husband came to visit.[emoji16]

24 radius sleeves, beauty rings, 510s and other spare parts

No more Provape shopping. [emoji30]

So, if I don't get robbed again I think I will vape Provape for a long time

Nice drip tip ... it sets of the combo nicely.
Cheers bud, Siam mods drip tip. A lovely lady on uk vapers sold me the blue Radius with the drip tip included, so she deserves credit for the great match, I'm very happy with it :)

I don't think they do much thing. Usually no more than 5% of the victims report the robbery!

I did file a claim because , for one side it is important to become part of the statistics, at least politicians won't say that there is no crime. The other reason is that they took my wallet with my IDs and I fear they can do something under my identity. At least there is a public file where I report that those IDs were stolen.

I've been receiving text messages that look like an ICloud report saying that my phone was found but instead of putting my ITunes ID and password I wrote as many bad words and curses I could imagine.

Maybe if police catches some thieves in the area they will call me to identify them. They could look for them in cameras because they used my credit card within minutes of the robbery

To be sincere I don't care what happens with those guys and the police, as long as I don't have to deal with it any more, I said may farewells to the watch and my radius and hope that some day the universe will collect from those idiots all the evil and harm they are doing. Bad actions always turn against the offender (at least I wish that)

Thanks for asking, it's very considerate from you, thanks.

Does anyone know of any videos for taking the Radius apart?

Why do you want to take it apart? Only thing you really need to take off is the bottom plate when you change batts. No one takes them apart down to its components so no vids on it. If you need it repaired provape still has a repair guy available.
