The info sheet he sent me when he fixed my P3 Beta lists $6.00 for software updates only, but if any work is needed he will let you know what and how much. You pay shipping to him, and may have to pay return shipping back to you. He takes paypal only. You would need to email him first to get a ticket number and instructions.

The main change I saw from 38 to 41 was the option to manual scroll on the menus. I really want that option, so it is worth it to me to pay for the service. I'm sure there are more changes, but the menu was the biggie for me. I've also got a 60W Radius to update from 1 to 3, so I'll probably send him in too. Unfortunately it is my favoritest one of all and I will miss having it here. :(

What it manual scrolling?

If you set the menu to manual, you can advance when you want to instead of letting the scroll speed do it for you. It makes things a lot easier to set up. It's kind of a stupid first world problem, but the auto scroll drove me up the wall.

The first P3's, sold by Provave dealers only before they were available on line, came with the USB key. I'm figuring in twenty years or so my key will be worth a whole two or three bucks on Ebay ;)

I got a key with the P3 I bought from ProVape online. The Princess Purple came with one too.

Ah, I see. I rarely change my settings, so that wouldn't matter to me.

Trying to set up the new P3 last night was silly. I had to really concentrate on remembering what the menu was all about. I also had to put a Kabuki together, which I seemed to blank on.

I've not changed the settings on my P3 in 2+ years ... like all my Provi, press button, vape

Same here - but last night I suddenly had a new P3 in my hands with no settings at all. Where's that speed thing again? I know that there's a way to shut off the display...what's the boost on the other one??? etc.

I wish I could say the same.

I am constantly adjusting up and down throughout the day.

I was making a lot of adjustments last night because I put different juice in the Kabuki. I have vaped the same ADV for almost five years and when I switch to something else for more than a puff or two I get disoriented.

Here is the GloVari from DFW. It has such a weird flat feeling to the paint and the button is a little wonky. Believe it or not I just got the ProTank 2 that is on it and I really love it except I have to keep , like, priming the wick or it tastes burnt. I bought two of these tanks because they were on sale. If the new ones taste as good I might upgrade. I actually prefer it taste wise to my Nauti mini. Ignore the little man in the background. I am going through pics for the website I am building. LOL

What it manual scrolling?

On manual mode you scroll through the menu with short presses, use a long press to enter a sub menu, short presses to scroll to the setting, long press to enter setting to adjust.

Speed setting still affects the scroll even in manual mode.

I don't look at the menu enough to memorize that.

Just a heads up... If you drop your Radius and break the internal spine, which makes the top no longer be secure I can repair them for you... it's not common, but it does happen.

This problem "break" is most common on white versions which have the clear internal spine, or some later versions with the clear internal spine. The black spines are much tougher, the clear spines are more brittle.

The cost of the repair is $40.00, plus shipping.
