I called Provape and they sent me a return authorization along with a postage paid label. I sent it back under warranty for them to take a look at it.

This got my attention. I don't think I'm wrong but since when can you call Provape? If I need service I have to fill out a ticket, but the OP must know Provapes phone number.

It's funny that your blind loyalty won't even let you entertain the possibility that one of their products might be faulty. But then again, that's the mark of a true fanboy.

Just chiming in to say that my experience has been the complete opposite. Up until a few days ago, the P3 was the only APV I owned and I have been using it since the first day of release, vaping 6-10ml a day, and I have had zero issues. I have dropped it about as many times as I have changed wicks.

I agree that getting the end cap on an 18350 is a PITA.

A few days ago I got an ipv4-S because I'm intrigued by temp control, not because I was unhappy with my P3...I'm a lower wattage vaper anyway. C'mon Provape....TC please!! If anyone can do it right, you guys can!

Nearly all of these cases are user related issues, rather than hardware failure...

With all due respect, Steve, people DO get a lemon once in a while.

I am loyal to Toyota brand, but even they sometimes produce a lemon and it's just one of those glitchy things that that particular vehicle didn't come out right somewhere along the line there is a component somewhere that is not working to spec.

The OP sounds like they are experienced vaper, and also experienced with provari products.

I think the automatic discounting of somebody's concerns, when they appear to be real, esp. when other people are saying that is not how theirs is working, but somebody else did have the same problem, points to fact that EACH provari is a separate piece of equipment in and of itself.

Apparently, this particular piece of provari is not working as it should.

That means that despite Provape being a dependable mod maker, it doesn't mean that out of thousands and thousands of items that they won't have a bad unit. Even the guys who work at NASA wouldn't claim that

And I agree that the OP should follow up with Provape until they achieve satisfaction, which I think will happen.

So long Provape, you've lost a customer. If I'm going to buy a unit that doesn't exactly reek of quality I just as well get it from China at a third the price.

I think you are stressed and terribly disappointed but i think you should take a few breaths and get back on keel, send your unit back in, and follow up on getting it to run to your satisfaction. I'm quite sure that will happen if you don't give up in a fit of disappointment.

I've been "angry" at a few vendors a few times........its really just disappointment turned into anger. Once I calm down things get better. :)

I have been using my proveri for 5 years with no problems!I think its the orignal.I bought it off someone on ecf,The best purchase ever!!!!I keep it clean and have never had any problems.

Hiya Robin, long time, no see!

I've got ProVaris going back to the very first list... and I'll tell ya, new...old... doesn't matter. These are the most reliable vaping devices made, and anybody that could have the sentiment of the OP of this thread simply doesn't want to be happy, in my opinion. Anybody that doesn't get good service from ProVape has expectations that NO company will be able to satisfy... sometimes is IS the customers fault they are not happy.

Sounds like you may just have a lemon. It happens sometimes.

I can say that I bought a new P3 Stealth a couple of months ago and it has flawlessly run anything I have screwed onto it. No battery issues to speak of either. Maybe they just need to replace the entire unit.
