Sent report to Provape last night. Going to contact today via phone once they are in the office. I'm hesitant about getting another ProVari since my first one didn't work. I may ask for a free color upgrade due to my troubles and if they don't upgrade just get a refund. Kinda upset with the product right now...

Nah, this has been happening about once a week lately but seems like Provape takes care of it with satisfaction.

I can feel your frustration but give Pro vape a chance to make it right. Once you do and you have your device in your hand working the way it should, those frustrations will quickly fly out the window.

There is a reason why us Provari owners as so passionate about them.

Hopefully you will have the chance to find out for your self very soon.

Yeah, I have to mail the ProVari back with the battery and atty I'm using. They also said to make sure the brass contact is clean so I'll check this. It is brand new so I wouldn't see why it isn't clean.

The manufacturing process some times leaves behind traces of residue.

I pointed out cleaning the contacts with isopropyl alcohol and a Q tip earlier in the thread. Soak the qt and then roll the excess out and use the wet end then swab with the dry end.

Hopefully this is all it is and you will be on your way.

Cleaned when I got home yesterday. No luck. It actually read one of my heads at 1.3 then went to Lo and wouldn't fire. My other 3 devices read it at 1.8 and the tank worked on them. I don't think there should be a .5 difference in the readings. Plus I use the Nautilus and those heads are 1.6 and 1.8 so I don't know if I'd have issues with the ProVari.

This is unusual and out of the ordinary, ccg78. There does sound like there is an issue with your Provari. Return it to Provape for the necessary inspection and repair. Provape WILL take care of you. Often they will return a repaired unit with a free battery or a free clearo tank for your trouble.

I'm looking forward to hearing what the issue actually is and if Provape works things out to your satisfaction.

1.8 and 1.9. It is reading 0 or 0.9 on the Provari.

How many volts are you trying to vape at?

Ive had my Provari 2.0 give the same kind of readings when Im accidentally set high enough to burn out the atomizer.

For example: 1.7 ohm carto set at 5.5 volts

Adjusting the voltage down as little .5 volts can cause this reading to go away.

This little equation was a godsend to me when I first started vaping.

Take the resistance of the carto/atomizer and add 2 to get you into optimum range( for most people) for vaping. You can adjust up or down from there to find you sweet spot but this method will get you right around 8 watts.

    2ohm carto/clearo/atomizer + 2 equals 4 volts

    3ohm carto/clearo/atomizer + 2 equals 5 volts

    etc etc

I started out at 3.7 and kept dropping the volts and checking the atomizer. Dropped to 3.0v and it still read Lo on the ProVari.

Will do, USPS says it will arrive today. I just hope they don't say nothing is wrong with it as I couldn't get it to work with any of my tanks.

One of the great things about ProVape's customer service, is they never just say "it's fine", and leave you be. If they can identify the issue causing problems, whether it's with the ProVari or not, they'll try their best to help you through it.

Fret not ccg78. I know it's frustrating, and as has been said before, unusual...ProVape will take care of you.

    I have several, and I love'm
I waiting now for their new one to hit the web site. It's a "DRAGON"
I live in the same state and if they had a store I'd be there hounding them
You made a good choice for trustworthy equipment.
    Congrat's and welcome

Sad to inform you, but a Dragon is only available through ProVape Authorized Resalers. Some sort of thing ProVape is doing for their channel partners...Dragons are purdy though :D

Be sure to bring your Dragon Provari to the anniversary party this Saturday, Rob. I'd love to see it in person.
