ProVari 510 getting scratched by tanks?

I've noticed that the brass connector pin of my ProVari is looking scratched. Is this normal ware from tanks, or should I be concerned? I'm especially worried about my genuine kayfun lite plus as its screw seems a little rough. I've included a picture, but it's not a great one. Thanks for any help!

I also have a ProVari and I have the same issue. It seems to me like it just maybe from normal wear. I mostly use an hcigar Kayfun 3.1 clone. I recently got a Eciggity kayfun lite v2 and will be using that on the ProVari as well here a picture of mine

If the pin on your delivery device is rough and made of a harder material than the pin on you power device it is going to scratch it.
I'd smooth the pin on the delivery device with very fine emery cloth.

You should be cleaning the Provari 510 connection (pin & threads) and the base cap & tube threads as routine maintenance.

+1. The pin is brass which is very soft compared to stainless steel. Those tiny scratches aren't anything to worry about though. Just keep your gear clean & you shouldn't see it affect performance.
