When I got my Provari my plan was just to use it at home. Only problem is now I am not happy with my Vision Spinners (what I usually take with me out and about)

So now I am looking at getting a J wrap to help protect it but I noticed they are like 14 dollars? To me that is a lot for what I consider a sticker. My question is the J Wrap good quality and does it improve the grip any?

Also if I decide to take it off does it leave any residue?

Thanks!

I don't own a Jwrap but I do have a vinyl cutter and made a template to make my own wraps for our Provaris. As long as they're using something like Oracal 631, which is rated for 6 years outdoors (it's the stuff you'd make decals for cars with, for example) it should be fine, and I can't see why they wouldn't. :)

One of mine is jwrapped..I paid $20 for a custom design. Love it! Its been on it for about a year and shows no sign of wear. It is a bit slick as far as gripping it I've never taken it off and it shows no sign of coming off anywhere.

How is that holding up? I was thinking about getting some inkjet-printable vinyl for custom designs. The company I was looking at recommends some sort of sealer over it, but that shouldn't be too hard. I'm not sure what Jwraps uses or whether the printable vinyl will hold up to handling. I guess I should just get some and find out for myself, but ya know... :)

If it does leave any residue you can get it off with goo gone. I have Jwraps on all 3 of mine and love them. I have a new Jwrap on the way. They can be reused as I understand it. I do know that they won't pull the finish off when you remove them. I had another wrap from electronicstix on one of mine for over a year. It left gooey stuff behind but it came right off with the goo gone. I can tell you that I am not careful with any of my Provaris and they are all a bit banged up under the wraps but I don't care. Life is for living. What good is having a Provari if you are going to treat it like a blown glass figurine? The Provari is made to take a beating. It does this very well. That's why I have them.

I have been using J Wraps on all of my devices since I bought them. They are awesome! They have been on for months and months and they still look brand new. My pv's take a beating too. I am a bit clumsy (understatement) and I drop them and accidentally throw them around constantly. The wraps hold up and look like they did when I first put them on. Definitely worth every penny.
Plus you can change the look of your pv easily whenever the mood strikes.
Good Luck!!
