The title says it all and is as quite looking forward to it obviously and am down to like 2 'analogs' a day. Morning and night after food so want a vaping experience that completely removes the need.

I can definitely taste the flavour (got mystic juice hazelnut)

Its just not - wow! More like a very good basic ecig but nothing special but in reality I think it's me

I may have my resistance too low (1.5 ohms I checked)

Is there anyway I can change my coil midway with juice still in the Kayfun? Like the same way I do with my Aerotank Mega or Nautilus

I just want the BEST possible combination with this so I can be a full time vaper

I have 0.25 kanthan and 2mm Ekowool .....I WILL try cotton in time lol! But surely that doesn't mean the combo should be so....mediocre

Yeah like I said just want a stronger, fuller, tasty enjoyable vape from this combo

If anyone can help me out I'd be very grateful!

Somewhere out there
You'll need to drain the liquid to change the coil. A syringe is easiest for removing and refilling (I find), but you can also use the drip tip like a funnel and just open up the tank, liquid will poor out the drip tip once the vacuum of the tank is released.

With 2mm Ecowool, I'd take 3 strands of it and wrap your coil around it. It looks like .25mm is about 30 gauge http://attachments.temcoindustrialpower.com/Data_sheet/kanthal_wire_data_sheet.pdf, so maybe start with 6 or 7 wraps?

I have Kayfuns and Taifun too. I built one up last weekend with 2mm silica and .25 kanthal and it hardly vaped.
Are you hand-coiling around the ekowool? I find a coil wrapped around a "bit" not only vapes better, but also enables you to squash the coil into a more "micro" arrangement.

You need to empty the liquid to get at the base/coil. I do this by simply turning the Kayfun upside down over a shot glass and unscrewing the base. The liquid just flows out. You CANNOT just undo it like a bottom coil clearo.

Thank you for your responses!

I'll probably invest in a syringe as well - thanks SueGeo

djsvapour thanks a lot for sharing your experience as well. Yes I hand rolled the wire after making and s-shape with the ekowool.

I guess I have to try something as it it would be such a waste

Thank you guys!

Hmmm, this is one rat research, so be warned.

1) Get a full spool of Kanthal. I use 28 guage but I could probably do just fine (with fewer wraps) using 30. I may experiment. It's about $10 a spool even at my local B&M, so not a big deal. The reason for the spool is so that if the coil doesn't turn out (took me a couple tries) you can just toss it and try again. Note: do not release the end of the Kanthal once you've started it from the spool. Sproing!!!!

2) I use cotton. Right now I'm using cheapie drug store cotton and will probably get around to 'organic' or whatever eventually. Maybe. That would mean going somewhere and spending more money. The advantage to cheap cotton is that if you mess up, you throw it out and try again. And again. And yet again.

3) I really wish I had a magnifying glass or really strong reading glasses, but then I'm getting old. If nothing else, have really bright light.

4) Find some really cheap juice you can stand for practice. Heck, use some you can barely stand. This way when you don't get it quite right, it's not a big deal to dump it and try again. I've been cleaning out my stock of 'almost good enough' juice this way. It's not bad, but I could care less about rewicking it and loosing juice. If you don't have any cheap stuff (who doesn't?) lying around in need of disposal, check out killer-juice. They have a really, really easy DIY system for basic flavors. At about $10 for 150ml with S&H, you'll have plenty to practice with.

But really, like any craft type hobby, it's all about practice. Oh, and I also use the Artistic Wire thingy to make my coils. MUCH easier, and really cheap. I think I got mine for something like $7 on Amazon, free S&H with Prime. Can also get one at a craft store for making jewelry.

Oh, lastly, if you have any sensitive family members, you might want to send them out for the afternoon. I found exploring my vocabulary of expletives helped tremendously.

You're gonna have to put some more effort in to reap the benefits , your resistance is fine but without photos of your build it's really hard to make suggestions , amount of wick and coil height above deck are really important in a kayfun , if you can post some photos it would be much easier to guide you .
