I will not be purchasing the Provari with the new slotted topcap until they make one in a flattop version. I have an EHPro Kayfun3.1. I like everything about it except the weight. Even with a Tatroe base on my ProVari it's a bit top heavy.

Now, I want to get a second one, but there are so many different versions to choose from that I need a bit of help. I am open to all versions currently available. I am looking for something that will work well and looks good on a ProVari, of course. Clones are fine as long as they are halfway decent quality.

Also, what ProRing goes with what you suggested? I don't need links as I have quite a collection of them.

If you have a Kayfun all ready the only thing that will compare is a dripper there is a lot of good choices out there
also a plastic M tank will reduce the weight of the Kayfun the real svoemesto beauty ring looks the best on a Provari with a Kayfun

Here's what the M tank looks like

I have an M Tank, I just haven't tried it yet. I have it paired with a stainless Loki Labs ring.

I am not looking to get rid of the one I have, I want a 2nd one, just a different version, such as without the AFC.

I think I have decided that the Kayfun Lite is what I want. Sticking with the EHPro for now and found one near me in stock at a good price.

So, now my question is airflow. Will the Hippo v2 work? Or another ring?

You won't need an airflow control ring, the KFL will get its air from a hole on the side of the base. I just use a regular Tatroe ring with mine. The Hippo won't hurt anything if you like the looks, just not necessary for airflow.

OK, cool. I got a collection of rings, I'm sure one of em will work.

I like the Tobeco foggy versions. I've got a lite nano and a 91. I bought them specifically because I can't stand the heavy toppers. And, replacement back up parts can be picked up fairly inexpensively, too.

Plus, there is a new market happening for new top caps for the Kayfun. I acquired a prototype in black delrin. Very nice looking, and light.

Any of the beauty rings not made for carto's only should work, fine. All of the ones I have do.

Susieq I just purchased an EhPro Kayfun lite + clone from ebay it came with both m-tanks plus the stainless I payed all of 37.40$ for it and it is the best one in my collection yet, even better then the black Edition that Crimson Jack recomended a while back.
The threads are as smooth as butter and if you use the m-tank sections that will take quite a bit of weight off.

I have an M-tank already, and will try it soon as I get a chance. Was going to go get the KFL today, but husband made me go buy shoes instead. But that's okay, I needed them.
