Considering a Provari Mini, a few questions before I place my order...

I've got a couple of box mods (dna 30). Most of the time, I run 3.4V into a Russian 91% with a 1.5 ohm coil. The DNAs won't regulate at that low of a wattage equivalent. They're great if you want to throw on a dripper or put some serious heat on your kayfun, but for the kind of vaping I do most, they're not ideal. Plus battery changes are a pain, if you don't want to wait for a recharge via the USB port. You don't need a screwdriver to swap the battery in your ProVari. And the ProVari's build quality is much better.

If most of your time is spent with something other than a RDA, the ProVari may be a better choice.

the problem with running a kfl that hard is you have to be careful not to melt the insulator. Ive read on a few occasions where thats happened and caused a short.

Svoemesto has kayfun provari rings. Try vaperev to see if they have it in stock. As for the 18650 look for the twins extension ring (not sure which website offers them now) It allows you to use both the 18500 and 18650. I have both and my mini works great with my KF 3.1 and KFL clones from Hcigar and Ehpro.

I've been on the waiting list at VapeRev for a Svoemesto ring for 2 months, with no end to the wait in sight. Like most things on their site, they're apparently sold out for all but a few minutes each year LOL.

Also, I think you can do a single Tatroe ring and the factory extension cap as another possibility for using 650 cells. I'm probably going to end up going this route if I can find one of the dark colored rings for my Mini.

The Twins are definitely cool, just make sure you're OK with the telescopic look they give in long mode.

Yes..very true unfortunately..I ended up ordering mine, with several other parts and accessories for my Semovar from digitalsteam in Estonia LOL. But I wasn't sure about the availability of the ring at Vaperev.

As for the Tatroe ring plus extension, I have not seen the ring in person. But it would be nice if you are getting the SS provari and it has the same color tone.
