Hi all,

Is it really necessary for a newcomer to rebuildable atomizers to buy a provari or is the L-tube with ohm read out enough?

Rgds

Danny

You could just buy a cheap multimeter and check your ohms with that, after a while of rebuilding you will get a sense of how many wraps of coil are needed for what ohm rating you are going for.

the Provari section, if you haven't already seen it:

Provari

Lot's of good information in there, hell, it convinced me to buy one, I'll be ordering tomorrow. Do you NEED a Provari? Probably not but it has just about the most versatility and durability for what it is compared to a lot. Have fun. :toast:

Thx a lot...wife's gonna kill me that I'm always on the forems reading :p

I would have saved a lot of money if the ProVari was available when I started. What you get from the provari over a LT is precision and build quality. If you simply want to adjust to taste and aren't concerned with build quality you'd probably be just fine with a LT. If you are the type to rationalize the cheaper purpose and then spend the next six months beating yourself up on the fact that you should have bought what you wanted and then end up buying it anyway then just buy the Provari and be happy.
