Well, depends what you want. Since you'll control the resistance, you need to make sure you can wrap a coil with enough resistance that the provari will let you use it, and not give you an e2 error.
If you're looking at a tank style, I like my AGA-T+ rev. 2 (the current revision).
I'm sure there are others with recommendations, though. Wait for more responses, and take a look at each of them before you make a decision.
Bottom line, when set up correctly, they all should work.

I know a lot of people love the Aga Tiamat + (I do too, its one of my absolute favorite devices) but I highly suggest an original Phoenix Clone (not v2) to start off rebuilding. Its a great way to get started rebuilding and you can pick them up at LiteCigUSA.

Phoenix Rebuildable 510 "Dripping" Atomizer

12.95 will get you the Phoenix Clone, Screwdriver, 5 spare wick and coil assemblies, a pre-installed wick and a drip tip. This is what I started on and I highly suggest it to anyone else. It is a beautiful little dripper and holds quite a bit of juice.

There is a lot of problems that can arise from owning a Genesis style atomizer that are slightly more complicated than wrapping a coil on some silica and throwing it on the two posts. Though I admit they share similar problems almost all problems with an RBA is related directly to the skill of the person wrapping the coil and (in the case of SS Mesh) building the wick. Start off simple - get some experience, you will get frustrated! Do a lot of research, read a lot of reviews and watch a lot of videos. I probably read 50 pages of reviews and instructions as well as watching 20 or so videos before I even received my phoenix clone.

I got frustrated, I got upset, I was not as instantly inclined to building wrapping a coil as I expected to be when I first got it. However thanks to my experience with it, when I moved up to a Genesis Atomizer - First try.

Another great place (if your not looking to spend a ton of money right off the bat when you start rebuilding) is thehouseofvapor.
Rebuildables

Silica and Kanthal are extremely cheap here and sold by the foot. So if you don't want to spend 8-15$ on eBay buying 100ft of wire or more on silica (this place has the cheapest silica I've seen yet) you can go here. 30ft of Silica, 30ft of Kanthal is around 12$ shipped and will go a long way! They usually have a coupon code as well right now the code 'vf' works for 10% off your order. Unfortunately they are out of stock of almost all their silica :(

Best of Luck.

That's a great deal, I think I might have to buy one.
I don't have a rebuidable dripper atty, but I'm in the process of messing with my buddy's crap RBA he picked up for 20 bucks or so, lol. The posts don't work too well for SS mesh in it's current set-up, so I'm working on converting it over to a dripper for him.

Oh, and I love your avatar. It's what I've got as my desktop wallpaper :D

i highly recommend the trivecca from okc as a drip atty. it runs around the same price, with extra silica and wire. only comes with 1 pre-made coil but you can add silica wick and wire cheaply as add-ons.

The ZAP or Zen atty Pro was made for the provari and is at the top of the heap it creates a seamless transition between the zap and the vari. The learning curve is a tad steep for some but once mastered it is all you need. If your eventual goal is to arrive at the best equipment dont take the long way it's cheaper to start with the best.

Just my 2 cents. The aga-t+ is great. I currently have this and it's excellent. But it is a challenge especially if you are new to the whole vaping scene. If you are up for it. By all means go for it.

The whole mesh wick process is tough. But don't be discouraged. This all pays off at the end. The taste is awesome. Cloud vape is awesome.

You can also try getting some clones that are good. The z-atty clone is the most recent one I bought. And it works just fine like my aga-t+. There's also the DID clone it is good also. Keep away from the cobra clone since it has such bad review because of the res hole not being lined up.

Thanks for the recommendations guys! I will try to avoid the cobra mod, thanks for the tip! I like the ZAP, but its out of my budget atm for now.. The AGA looks great, but kinda digging the ZAP. my save up my funds for one. I did not know a multimeter is required, I may have to do more research before I decide. Thank you everyone, I got a better understanding on tanks and the available options, appreciate it!
