I've been loving the vivi nova. Have been using them on the Ego Twist. I got tired of the lopsided look and the battery life so I jumped to the Provari. The only problem is that the provari seems to lack the airflow cutouts found on the ego twist. I assume I need some kind of 510 to 510 adapter to give it a little room but I'd hate to have an unsightly gap between the tank and the battery. Does anyone have some suggestions?

I use mine on my Provari with no adapters.

I'm not sure why yours would suddenly be tight :/

You may be over tightening it, you just need to nip it up so it makes the battery connection.

It's kind of the luck of the draw, if the threads match up with a perfect alignment the air flow will be reduced/eliminated. I ran into the same problem with one of my favorite tanks when I got my Provari.

The solution was way to simple after I got over the initial frustration.

The metal on the bottom of a vivi nova is pretty thin, but I'd probably try that before I messed with adapters………assuming that unscrewing it just a tad doesn't fix the issue.

Those notches don't need to be much more than just a scratch to allow enough air to where it needs to be.
There is also no need to do a perfect job, you can only see the ends of the notches with the tank installed.
My mini nova had the same problem on my Vtube
