So the provape website says you should only use AW IMR high drain batteries. What does that mean and can you buy them anywhere but the provape site for cheaper?

question about chargers for these batteries too (really about battery chargers in general). Does it matter what kind of charger you use with these AW IMR batteries or any batteries?

I like RTDVapor. Both AW "red jackets" and plenty of chargers to choose from. Fast shipping. Overall great vendor.

It has to be a Li-Ion charger of course with a cutoff not really exceeding 4.2v

I've been using the Tenergy charger from Provape for 7~ months now without issue but I'm still planning on buying another nicer one (probably NiteCore IntelliCharger).

I generally stick to the AW recommendation as they aren't miles more expensive and they perform well (I know the battery isn't going to cause issues). I have tried my Panasonic CGR18650CH batteries in there and they worked fine (but I bought them for use in my CVI). Provape recommends the AWs because they are high drain batteries (IMR) and because of their chemistry are inherently safer than ICR batteries. Other brands will work but AW is tried and true.
