Not sure how well this comes out in pictures but my top cap is starting to separate from the body. I've noticed it gradually getting worse, anyone seen this before ?

Do you think provape would fix it?

I have not seen that happen. I tossed one of mine across the room out of frustration from a post out here and does not have a mark on it.

I am pretty sure provape would take care of that.

It's a press fit. Heavy atties and rough environments cause this. It's happened to a couple of mine.
The fix is simple. I sit mine on a solid surface, put a small wood block on top and smack it with a hammer.
Go easy. You're not driving a spike. You just need to tap it firm enough to make the top cap seat.

The top cap of the Provari is a press fit. You can take care of this yourself with this method: https://provape.zendesk.com/entries/22423238-Help-My-Top-Cap-is-Coming-Loose-

If you are uncomfortable with doing this DIY method, then Provape will do it for you, but it's really an easy DIY fix. Don't worry about hurting the Provari - it's built like a tank.

If you simply Google "Provari top cap loose" you'll literally get a dozen hits on fix's.

I've had it apart. The top cap is a tube that's turned down kind of like a mushroom to slide inside the main tube. There's a slot machined around the center with a pale orange o-ring in the slot as a frictional retainer. If you drop it battery movement and the side force if the atomizer hits can apply lateral pressure to the cap and push it up a bit. All it takes, as someone has said, is to remove the atomizer, turn it upside down on a table, and give it a rap with the heel of your hand. Then, it will stay in place until the next time it's dropped or banged.

It's an ingenious design that requires no glue or visible fasteners to keep the cap in place.

Oh, yes. I have dropped my Provari plenty of times! They are indestructible. Your tank on top might break, but not the Provari. I even loaned mine to my son for a day and he dropped it and the evod tank he on it with a 510/ego adapter busted off and left the tiny round piece of metal inside the provari from the adapter. Sort of like when a lightbulb breaks and all that's left inside the socket is the metal cap that you used to screw it in. But luckily it did not hurt the Provari at all and I was able to unscrew the cap inside with a pair of tweezers. It's still cranking out vapor! :)
