One of the reasons I bought my new red/black Classic is it matches a black tank with red O rings I've not used for a while.

Another reason is the tiny footprint that an 18350 battery offers for a tube mod.

My Procyon/Kabuki is a "light saber" length wise.

My Radius/kayfun 5 is a bit shorter..and my everyday vape equipment.

I'd love to have an even shorter mod being my new Classic, but it's currently fitted with an 18490/extension ring and is only a tiny bit shorter than the Radius setup. cuppla mm.

Everything down here in Australia is expensive. But I'd love to use my Classic in the short 18350 form just because it's an overall great size.

My current charger is an Xtar SP2 which doesn't suit batts under 18490 length.

So for me to buy an 18350 batt I would also need to buy a suitable charger. extra expense..

The tank I use on the Classic is 1.8 - 2 ohms running under 9 watts

My question is, will an 18350 battery give me a "reasonable" amount of usage? (I can always add my extension ring and install the 18490 if I runout of power)

I run mostly in 18350 mode, my advice is to get two or three batteries and a carrying case for them, I stack two 18350's in an 18650 single battery case. At my wimpy 7-8 watt vape I get about a Kabuki tank from one battery, give or take. I know the batteries will cost you some, but if you really like the form factor of the shorty set up, you'll probably find a way to get a few more batteries down the line.

As far as fitting into the charger, I will tell you my work around for that, I made up some slugs from a length of wooden rod cut to length, drilled a hole through the center, and ran a piece of copper wire (scrap) down the middle. You could even take a pile of copper coins and run a bead of solder down one edge. I use these slugs all the time when charging my 18350's. because they give better conductivity to the posts of the charger and battery due to the increased spring tension.
Good luck.

Awesome advice matey! Thanks

I hadn't thought about using a spacer, and that will definitely save the cost of buying a second charger.

I can cobble up some kind of spacer easily!

I received my B/R today, and I'm liking the color better that I thought I would. I have an SS Serpent mini on it, and it looks pretty good, also ordered today a black ego one v2 in black. I'll see which I like best. :) This should conclude my Provari buying. I have a bunch of 2.5's, a P3, and now three Classics, so not anything else I want. I'll just sit back and enjoy them :)

It's weird that in the last few 2.5's I bought, I'd order the 18650 ext. cap, and when I got it, there would be a cap in the box also. I quit ordering the extension caps and there wouldn't be one in the box. I got enough caps now anyway if I ever want to use them, except for the B/R. No cap for that one.

They are only like six bux now...I did notice that the beauty rings in SS are gone :( I was hoping they would drop the price on the black ones because I'd like to get a couple, but I can't justify buying them when for the price of two of them I can get a 2.5 :facepalm: I am a very sick boy

I'm using my classic with cheap efest 18350s vaping at 7 watts and it lasts about 2/3 day. And I've read the AWs last even longer.

FYI, I got my Classic last week. It felt like I was checking a lottery ticket. I took it out of the box, put a battery in it, and checked the LED......

3 colors. It's all good. I have a $50.00 Classic.:)

For some reason I got in the habit of setting my button color to the juice in my tank. So I know what's in there (I'm getting old). Red= Berry, Blue= blueberry, Green= Mint.

I guess Yellow= Pina Colada, Aqua= all other Drinks, White= menthol, Rainbow= fruit loops, Pink= Panty Dropper:facepalm: ( I bought it for the name, stayed for the taste). Will never be used on my Classic's.

This baby made it in today, it isn't safe hanging around here.:)
I do feel better with two Classic's, I fell in love with my GMZ and some of her features specially the ability to use flat tops.
