Hi guys
I was wondering if there are any new Darwin owners who also own the ProVari and would like to hear how you like the Darwin compared to your ProVari?

Also would you say there is a big difference or not that big of a difference in the TH and flavor between these two PV's at the optimal volt setting when using your preferred carto/atty setup on your Darwin and ProVari?

I am trying to decide which one of these two VV PV to get and I have read a lot on both (& Nebulabrot) but I am still undecided on which to get. There are things I like better on both models vs. each other and I am having a hard time deciding

You can also PM me if for some reason you would prefer to instead of posting it here and I will keep it private.

Btw if you have both and are thinking of selling one pm me I might be interested if the price is good vs. buying a new one and I have Paypal. :)

I don't have either, so I can't give you personal opinion, but what I can chime in on is the science. (this info from their posted specs)

The Darwin and ProVari are different animals. ProVari lets you control the voltage, giving you a way to dial in roughly what you want in the way of hit. The Darwin reads resistance and lets you dial in what sort of wattage you want your atty to output, therefore allowing use of whatever atomizer resistance you want.

Between the two, just based on specs I'd have to give the win to the Darwin. The resistance of an atomizer changes as it heats, and being able to automatically adjust to maintain a constant output is just more advanced.

The most important thing to ask yourself is, "do I REALLY need to have this much control over the workings of my ecig". If not, go with whichever looks cooler to you. ^_^

I am leaning toward one over the other form my research for various reasons but would be interested to hear real world performance from people who own both. One has more cons for me than the other from what I have read and seen. I also do prefer the looks on one over the other but this personal preference.

They both have control to certain extent but in different ways/tech it seems. So I don’t think the TH and flavor is going to be a big of difference between the two PV’s but I am not positive since I don’t own both. But this would be the main factor for me in my decision between these two if there is a big difference. I am hoping to see some comparisons reviews of the Darwin and the ProVari soon on Youtube from experience reviewers/vapers who have used both PV’s. So I guess I will wait at this point for these comparison reviews on Youtube. :)
