I have made a small observation that I hope one of you can confirm or deny. I am using a carto tank with pre punched smoketech 2.ohm carto. I started using it on my darwin playing with the wattage/voltage until it was just right. I wound up cranking it all the way up to 12.7 watts which on my darwin was reading 5.2 volts. Delicious vape ! Now my normal go everywhere device is the Provari so when I switched to the provari and copied the darwin's setting of 5.2 volts, it seems like its firing more , burning hotter and needs to be turned down . Why at the same voltage is the carto acting different?

Well the first thing I would suggest is a 3 ohm carto on a Provari instead of a 2 ohm. This allows a wider range of adjustment. I'm also having a hard time visualizing 12.5 watts through a carto without burning it. (unless it's a dual coil)

I would also be aware of air flow on the Provari with a tank type setup. I do this to the bottom of my tanks so that I don't have to worry about blocking off the air.

not quite sure if i have a means of checking the output voltage outside of the provari atm but I have been toying around with this thing since we all had a chat and there is no voltage I can set the provari to where it matches the taste and how the darwin is making the carto fire. I think maybe the batteries are different for 1 and there is something the darwin is doing with the amps. The provari is reading 2amps and the darwin at 12.7 watts 5.2v reads 2.5amps
