provari. dead

got my provari,, well twas shipped 31/07,11, got to me soon after, well after i paid uk customs & rm for the taxes aprox 30 gbp. went to use it 2x days ago.. its showing ao all atties @ 1.3 ohms, so i did myself a google, says get a q tip clean contacts with 99% isopropyl.. this i do once a month any way.. tried again, didnt work,, more google say try isopropyl bath. done that sloshed it all around .. left to dry,, nope still dead, tried again. same thing iso bath sloosh round,, nope its dead, have tried loadsa atties both, home built and shop bought, all show ao 1.3, bottom line have mailed monsterkenny on here waiting reply, its out of warranty and i miss the provari, has been a fantastic device, i have followed every , tip from provari, and hope they can sort it for me. i would defo buy another, perhaps cause of postal charges, warranty issues re 39. usd return post. not from provape but uk or eu, sorry to rant.. i miss my provari

Man, Sorry to hear about that.

I use my Provari every Day and I would be Bummed Out if it Passed on to the "Great Gig in the Sky".

maybe kenny will tell me a fix for it, i spent all day on google ,and wiiki , cant fix it as yet,, hope its not dead, just having a breather! i would defo get another, been a great device, hell i even had a name for the chap, he slept in the bubble wrap he came in and had a good life.. for you i would say get a provari back up, case you aint got one

If you have cleaned the Contacts and tried Different Atty's the Only thing I would suggest is Trying Different Batteries.

But it doesn't sound like a Batter Issue.

You sure the Provaie is say's 1.3 and not E1?

zoid no aint a battery prb, i use awr gen 18650 provape issue,, fresh off charge 4.2 ,, its a deffo ao @1.3 . am not a new user of the device . think my provari is for the bin, like i say gonna get another been superb, works alll the time, but its like a a tv or i pad, or watever, aint gonna last forever

Yeah, it doesn't sound good for your Provari. I think it is Dead.

I was having weird readings on mine sporadically as well as it going completly dead. They told me to pull/stretch my endcap spring. I guess over time it gets too compressed and not holding the battery tight enough against the connector. Took care of my problems for the time being anyway. Good luck.

your advice was just the same as i got from monster kenny @ provape, i did try as kenny said clean the spring make sure its central, i even tried a new spring, and a fresh cap offa known working provari, still no joys, trying another isopropyl bath, waiting it drying, should b ok in the morning, maybe give it a day extra,, the display is working fine, just it wont fire up & show ao 1.3, when i scroll through menu. kenny said he would investigate for me, which is great as it is just outa warranty, just hope its not dead,, even 12 month with the provari was worth the money, and i will defo order another one
