Provari fire button sketchy

So recently, the fire button on my provari won't actually work. Sometimes I'll press it and it'll flicker ever so slightly, sometimes it doesn't light up or fire at all when fully pressed. I've owned it for a little over a week, and the warranty is still good, so I've no doubt I can send it in for repair. Any ideas what might cause this though? I like to know what causes malfunctions, even though I'll more than likely be sending it in.

Edit: I should mention I've never dropped it, abused it, set it down on the button, or any sort of thing like that.

You may just be pressing it way too hard.

If its a problem just contact them and get it repaired. Its a shame though. You haven't had it long.

I hate to ask the obvious, but I'm going to anyway cause I didn't see it in your original post, but are you sure it's not the carto/atomizer that you're using? Have you tried it on a different mod to make sure that it fires on something other than the Provari? I only ask because the error system on the Provari can be a little wonky at times....

Another thing....sometimes the low res dual coil cartos can act weird on the Provari too. I've had some that read 1.5 ohms but for whatever reason the Provari won't fire them when other devices do...

If there hasn't been any drops or abuse in anyway. And the batteries are fully charged. It's probably a bad button switch.

You probably already know this. Just throwing it in because you mentioned a blinking light.(I didn't read all the way throw the directions and mine started blinking and then didn't work) The light will blink slightly when the battery is going dead. I have the mini and was using the 18350 battery at the time. It didn't last as long as I expected it too and freaked me out for a few at first.

I think it's a bad switch then. Battery is fully charged, does this on different cartomizers. I use Boge LR cartos. I'm not pressing too hard, nor too light. It actually stopped working mid-fire not 5 minutes ago. And the blinking is more like flickering, not a steady blink so to speak. Current carto reading at 2.2 ohms. Sometimes the button works, sometimes it doesn't.

Could be. Provape is pretty good with customer service so you shouldn't have any issues getting it fixed or replaced....good luck and hope you have a backup handy
