Has anyone tried the DCA 306? Specifically the MA306 1.5 ohm atty that comes with. I know 1.5 is like just stretching it for what the provari can handle, but if its actually 1.4 then forget about it.

Anyone have any experience with this atomizer? Particularly on the Provari? Or know the exact lowest ohm a Provari can handle? Thanks. I just got a DCA and would like to know if I should use 2.0 ciscos or the MA306 for the larger opening hole at the bottom. At least there will be MA306 1.8s soon....

So theoritcally 1.4 ohms would work at 3.3-3.5 volts?

and in other words if the ohms is 1.3, I'm screwed. lol

Well I'm sure there is some lead way. After all some claim to run a 1.5ohm Dual coil at 4.1v(which defies the math), while others can't go above 3.7v. The Provari is a very idiosyncratic piece of electronics... That or else some people draw too hard and suck out some of the magic smoke that makes it work perfectly...

I'm not so concerned about being able to go high voltage, just that if I can run at a 1.5 ohm atty, at even 3.3 volts

Thing is, not all 1.5 attys are the same, and I'm hoping if I get a 1.4 ohm it will even fire at 3.3 at all.

The only worry with a 1.4ohm atty, is that WHILE it is firing, the resistance drops, so it may fire for 2-5 seconds and then error, then cool, then repeat.
