i have had a v2 provari for about 5 months now. i use 29g, back then i couldnt get 28, so i bought some 29. i have some 28 on the way though. i have a couple of DID's and an aga-t. i usaully do like a 4 wrap and get 0.08 to 1.0 ohms with no problems. i really like the lower ohm coils. the only thing i do to help me out with these lower ohms is that when i first wrap them i put them on a mechanical mod first (i have an omega) just for a minute until i even up the coils and get them all heating up evenly first, then once they all look good i then put it onto the provari. otherwise you occasionally will get the error messages if you just do it with just the provari alone. but once you have it on the provari it has handled 0.08 perfectly until you have to do a new coil again. sometimes i can do just the right coil right off the bat on the provari and not need the omega at all. at 0.08 i will vape it at 3.2 to 3.4 volts, a 0.09 coil at up to 3.7 volts. a 1.0 ohm coil maybe 4 volts. i just got 500 mesh and it works great.

Awesome. Just what I needed to know! Thanks!

no problem, not sure if you own a mechanical mod, not neccesary but sometimes it does help. i always try it first on the provari and if i get it right no problems. but sometimes the coil just isnt cooperating, at that point i pop it onto the omega and work it out, then back onto the provari. good luck

Hey everyone,

I will probably have my provari v2 tomorrow, and was curious if anyone know what the lowest ohm wrap I could make using A-1 28 AWG Kanthal?

I know on my vmax I can get to 1.3 OHM at 3.5v before faulting. What can I do with a provari?

Version2 Provaris minimum voltage setting is 2.9 volts. The amp limit is 3.5 amps. Theoretically, the lowest resistance coil possible would be somewhere between .8 and .9 ohms.

assuming a 3.5amp limit.

To use the full voltage range of your mod you need at minimum a 1.8ohm coil
I have to wrap 28 ga. a total of 9 wraps to get it to 1.8 ohms in a genesis style tank.

anything below 0.8 theoretically wont work at any voltage due to amperage limitations.
a 0.9 ohm coil @ 2.9v is still a good vape for me

the math is simple with a calculator
