Yup, way overpriced for the Provari and the saber. For that price it better include batteries, charger and the extension.

Now, if only there was a canadian vendor that sold the Bolt + extension for $35.

You can get a bolt with extension for $35 from surevapes, not Canadian mind you, but free shipping. I already have one on the way :)

The price on the Provari is actually quite fair.

If you were to buy the black Provari mini from Provape it would cost you $179.95+$23.95 shipping (or you can upgrade to Express for $39.50) so $203.90 or $219.45. Shipping from CEV is only $10. So you're basically paying ~$20 more but you'll get it in 1-2 days.

Just sayin'.

A complete list of Mods and PV's offered by Canadian vendors is stickied at the the top of the Canadian forum. It's also updated on weekly/bi-weekly basis.

Not to mention the fact that the Provari in Canada thing has been all over the forum for the last month. I like you, Beaver. Friends? :p

This is very true. Additionally, this vendor has several different codes that can be used for 10% off, making this a very reasonable price (relatively speaking). I'm waiting for my 6 month no cig anniversary to treat myself to a black satin provari, and will definitely buy it from Canada if they are still in stock at that point.

Things are worth what people are willing to pay :)

I agree though, cheap.

:p honestly? I got to hold one, use one, see what it can do......i still have to say i just do not get why people love them. I am not saying there is something wrong with them, just that i do not get the love affair with them

Oh sweet. I think I might get the gunmetal one, I've been eyeballing it. I'd love it if canvape carried the bolt, great little mod for a great price, and at $35 its pretty expendable. Throw the kick in there and you got a pretty decent mostly-mechanical mod for the same price as a LT.

Granted my opinion is a little biased as I'm in a torrid love affair with my Provari, but the reason why I believe the Provari is held in such high esteem is because:

1. It's a single battery VV mod
2. It's 100% stainless steel
3. The electronics have been proven to be very reliable over the years
4. It's a US made mod
5. It can take 18490 or 18650
6. The vendor offers terrific customer service
7. It was one of the first mods to display ohms/battery voltage

If you're not into stacking batteries, for whatever reason, be it safety, convenience etc, your options for a single battery VV mod are limited. The Lavatube being pretty much the only other contender in this field, while it may have the same functionalities, the two are miles apart when it comes to build quality and reliability (you rarely hear of a Provari's battery connector popping out).

Then again there are a lot of PVs that have cult followings, take a peek in the GG forum (ask Martinc, he knows a little something about that :p), or the Notcigs Buzz Pro forum, or the Reo forum.

Just as with anything else, to some people certain things are worth paying more for. Why pay $50k for a Lexus when you can get a $20K Ford - quality, reliability, and performance.

**End proclamation of love for Provari :D

Ahem.

<------- You missed an important mod.

Everything but #7 on your list and that is actually preferable to not have it on MY list for the most fantastic mod in it's category :p

Oh for sure gunmetal, I wouldnt have got it unless it was the gunmetal....I really need to get a kick though, I am growing quite bored of 3.7 volt vaping.....but I couldnt pass the gunmetalness up :D Plus I have some cool batts coming from the coop op :)
