Hi

Since you're interested in a ProVari, I suggest you read the threads in the ProVari sub-forum. You will likely find much of the information you need. After you have 5 posts, you can post questions in that forum as well. Since you posted this thread in the New Members forum, you will probably receive responses about other devices you might be interested in.

The two above posts are correct so I won't repeat but I'd definitely order directly from Provape. I ordered the standard one without the extension & the battery lasts me all day. I still take a extra battery with me to work just in case but so far I've never needed to change it.

What helped me decide...strong build quality, 1 year warranty with the option to purchase a 2nd year, repairs at reasonable cost outside of warranty. Also I'd seen too many posts about other devices that stopped working after a couple of weeks or months. In the end it just came down to doing some research. It was my smartest purchase in my opinion.

Two legitimate gripes with the Provari:

-It does have limited features.
-The controls of it are a bit clunky.

If you can afford it, you should get one. It is the best made device you can purchase, backed up by premium service. It is also beautifully crafted and looks like a piece of art that works. You will never, ever hear an owner complain about the Provari's performance. That kind of says it all, doesn't it?

Are you currently vaping? If so, what type of PV and what juice delivery devices.

What features of the Provari do you find most attractive so far?

Do you mind carrying extra batteries with you to allow you to vape the entire day, or is that a turn off?

Is size more a consideration that how long a battery can last?

The 18350 batteries the mini takes do not last long if you are a chain vaper. If the size is really important to you I would strongly suggest the extension cap, so you can also use the 18490's the difference in battery life between the two is major and not much of a size difference. I would also suggest looking at some of the pictures of provaris off the site, as the full size really isn't that big and smaller than many of the other mods out.

I have had the Provari mini for a little over a week now. I'm using it without the extension cap with the smaller 18350 batteries. I am not a chain vaper, but I do use it on a regular basis throughout the day. I do manage to kill one battery and go though about a 1/3 of a second one on any given day.

When I bought the mini, I only purchased 2 batteries for it. This is fine if you don't mind charging batteries every day. But I recently placed an order for 4 more. I thought it would be nice to only have to charge batteries every 3-4 days or so. They are only $8-$10 a piece, so that is something to consider.

If you want longer battery life, you can get the extension cap, but with that extension cap, it makes the mini just about the size of the regular Provari. Personally I like the mini because it's easier to carry around, and it is actually shorter in length than my old ego twist setup. You will not be disappointed with the unit. It's extremely well built, and feels solid in your hand.

Purchase it from Provape. This will ensure you receive a genuine product and you will get the standard 1 year warranty with an option to purchase an extended warranty. (I didn't purchase it, but I know some people like that sort of thing).

Okay, we now know who has all the provaris lol, thank you tho Baditude. A while back I met up with a friend of mine who had a full sized provari, I was very surprised at how small it was, as on the site it looked really big.

You didn't say it like that to him, did you?
