Provari Mini on the way! Excited and a Question...

Hi everyone, just purchased my Mini with Provape! I got it with the extension cap to run 18490's. If I want to have the option to use 18650's I would only need 1 Tatroe ring to use with the Provari stock extension and 2 Tatroe rings with the Tatroe Wide Base? I know there are other options but I want to go with the Tatroe mods. I think the option for all 3 batteries will be in my best interest.

I think you can run it like this:
18350: std cap OR Tatroe foot
18490: Extension cap OR Tatroe Ring + std cap OR Tatroe ring +Tatroe foot
18650: TWO Tatroe Rings + std cap; OR ONE Tatroe Ring + Extended Cap; OR TWO Tatroe Rings + Tatroe foot

In other words, the foot does NOT extend...it's JUST a foot.

Got it! This is all good news for me then! I see they are out of stock everywhere, but Provape will sell you the tatroe ring for $12 if you buy the foot, however, no option to buy the ring alone from them. I guess I'll buy the foot and one ring for now.

I had a recent order that included a base + extension.

During processing I was contacted by support, and was told that they were sorry, but that somehow the extension went out of stock. They asked me if I wanted to hold the order for a few days, or to remove the extension from the order. I was in a rush and went with the later.

But they did allow me to purchase just the extension ring as a separate order. It shipped out a few days later. (they asked me to purchase a random low value item, then they edited the order and replaced the random item for a stand alone tatroe extension)

Not sure if they can help you out, but it could be worth sending an email to ask.

Just note, that if you buy the provari extension cap, and the tatroe foot and ring, you can use the tatroe ring and provari ext cap to use the 18550 bats.

For me, the wide base from Tatroe is well worth the cost if you use a glass tank. It will help prevent accidental tip-overs which could break the glass.

Here it is and I'm glad I did it! Blue LED, extensions for all 3 battery sizes and Hippo V2. Hippo is awesome, although expensive I'm also glad I bought that too. It does exactly what it's suppose to and the fit/finish are perfect. The Mini is also perfect as you all know, now back to my vape…
