Provari mini v2.5 w/ kir fanis extension does not fit??

Purchased a kir fanis extension tube and it does not thread all the way on.

My friends have the same provari and it screws on to some but not others and they are all v2.5.

Any ideas??

I used the extension tube off a Smoktech Natural before I got Atmistique's Twins. Looks exactly like your picture with the gap.

Nice!! The kir fanis one should screw flush though mine doesn't...

batteries are not always exactly the same size. An 18650 (which is what I'm assuming you're using) is supposed to be 65mm long, but some 18650s can be as long as 70mm. Try measuring your battery - preferably with calipers. If it is longer than 65mm, the extension tube will likely not screw all the way down.

the tube does not screw on without the battery installed, plus the spring on the provari end cap should have enough give to fit a 1-3 millimeter difference. the issue is the threading seems to be binding, but its bothersome that it fits on some provaris and not others.

I could not take a chance purchasing some other tube and later finding out it does not fit so I designed and machine my own.
