Provari Mini v2 received... what it that gap on the 510 connector?

Hi guys,

I just received my brand new Provari Mini v2.
As soon as I get it I screw a Boge LR 35mm carto on it and something surprised me:

As you can see on the picture, I can't screw it entirely and this let a 1mm gap. I tried the same carto on my Vamo and my eGo and no problem, I can screw it to the bottom. It seems that the central pin of the 510 connector of my Provari is too high.

Is it normal?

Contact provape send them the pic and see what they say. The ProVari has a 1 year standard warranty.

Not suposed to screw down carto's or Atty's to tight, the gap is fine and will be different when using different carto's, Atty's, rba's = Normal

It looks pretty normal to my old eyes.

Problem is that you crushed down the pins on your other devices by tightening to much. All part of a learning curve.
You need some gap to allow air flow unless you are using a side vent tank.
