I just got my ProVari today to accompany my Bulli Atomizer - A supposed match made in heaven. I set it up with the A2-t and discovered that it does not fire. After a little tinkering and checking for shorts, I determined that the ProVari is showing the Atomizer Ohm check option as "OPEN", in other words, no atomizer connected.

I checked the resistance of the Bulli with my multimeter, and it showed up as 2.2. I made a couple other coils around 2.6 with no luck still. I am firing the atomizer with the cap off, so no chance of shorting.

The strange thing about this is that the ProVari gladly accepts my other atomizers and tanks - The Bulli works beautifully on all my other PV's.

Does anyone of any suggestions? I was really looking forward to this PV, but now its looking like you might see a new post in the classies for anyone who does not use a Bulli. :(

Thank you very much! Do you mean wriggle the atty adapter or the bulli? I just used a disc of aluminum foil and got it to work! I would like to get it to work without the adapter ultimately, so if this post is just surrounded by rubber, id like to stretch it or something. Thanks! :)

The post on the atty:)

Thanks for the tips everyone. I am glad I got it working, and I am equally glad that it was not a serious issue with the bulli or anything. I am a bit worried that the rubber will degrade over time if I have to keep tweaking that center post. When I first encountered the problem, I ended up ordering a 510 stealth adapter. I submitted a cancellation through MV but they ended up shipping it out anyway :-/ .

The batteries I am using in this provari are not the high drain 18500's, just the regular ones. When I try to vape at 5.2 or above, it shuts off. Is this due to the short-circuit cutoff? It doesn't throw an error message when this happens - I have to take the battery out to reset the voltage. I did not notice that these batteries I got were NOT high drain when I ordered... C'est la vie. They are still decent.

Well use this to figure you watts.

Try going no higher than 12W.
