I have 4 A2s now and I am really impressed and love them . Perfect on my proVari and DON. I use both the Kanthal 0,16 & 0,20. 6 turns of the 0,20 with 4gf gives me 1.7ohms & 5 turns on the 0,16 gives 2.8Ohms. But still is a learning curve and it keeps varing depending on the length of the wire. I normally cut 3 to 3.5 inches.

I use the A2-T setup for direct dripping. Just pulled out the wicking part and modified the cart a bit( cut the two ends to make it shorter and cleared off everything inside to make it hollow so I can pull it out easily. Amazing vapour , flavour and TH.

I had the same issues with mine,,,, what I finally did was oxidize the mesh, like we all do with any other Genesis type Atty or G-tank especially. Try this, take a piece of your mesh over to the cook top or any open falme, torch anything, burn till it glows orange, rinse with cold water, do this 4 times. Then repeat this process with VG, put some VG on your mesh, burn, wash, and repeat 4 times,,, this will oxidize your mesh to where it needs to be. I've also found that the size of the pre-cut pieces of mesh seem a bit small in width, I'm making mine so they fit a bit more snug in the pin opening that you slide it into. Lastly dont fill you cart tank all the way full, leave room for an air bubble to move the juice when you turn upside down for the juice to move this helps it run down the mesh. Lastly I also cut my mesh on a 45% angle like the open pin is cut that you slide it into. Hope this helps

Well I've been using fiberglass braided wick mostly, idk if its the wick I have that's the problem or what. Don't have any more of the wick that comes with the a2, what I have is about the thickness of 4 strands of the original stuff.

Tried doing a genesis type wick of it and I found that the size of the wick was too small and wasn't providing the coil with enough juice to go through so what I did was take a small 1/4" piece of ss mesh that I wrapped around a wire nail (so there is a channel inside of it) and took some strands of fiberglass and covered the outside of the mesh with it (also oxidized the ss just in case). So far so good, getting really good flavor. I think the issue was that the fiberglass wick I have is too tightly wound and doesn't allow juice to flow through it too easily. Gonna vape on this for a while and then experiment some more. :vapor:
