ProVari or other device?

I've been using an eGo for about two weeks, if that... and being a tinkerer - I was thinking about getting a ProVari. I love the eGo - especially with Boge 2.0ohm cartomizers... but have been wondering about vaping with higher voltage / resistance cartos.

My motivator right now is I am basically stuck using two flavors because nothing else I try remotely tastes good, no matter what I use (cartomizers / atty + drip tip / etc) and I feel that switching things up may help? But the price tag on the ProVari doesn't make me want to experiment with it too much...

Are there any PT's that offer adjustable voltage output or even a higher fixed voltage that I can play with? Ahhh... I really want to curb my spending at this point but I don't want to "settle" for a so-so vaping experience.

There isn't a varitable voltage passthrough as far as I know, but if you had a straight passthrough like the BB or similar and a ac/dc converter that adjusts to, 3v,4.5,5,6 you will get the same effect. the problem is The Shack doesn't seem to carry them any more and I was searching high heaven for a place that does...hence the late reply I provided the pic below to sort of give you an idea as to what to look for. Make sure the output isn't as high as the pic though
