I'm a pretty simple vapor. My Provari's provide the basics that I want in a mod. It's dependable. Reliable. Consistant. Durable. Predictable. Provape's loyalty to their customers gives me peace of mind, not many companies do that much any more. It provides me with the best vape that I've experienced from any of my mods, and is capable of handling any of the delivery attachments that I use.

I don't need lots of power; about 7 -8 watts is the most I ever use. I don't need to power sub ohm coils; 2.0 - 3.0 ohm works best for my preference for a cooler vape. I don't need variable wattage; all of my toppers are in the same resistance range. I don't need an OLED screen, the Provari's give me all the information that I need with theirs, and I don't mind a few more steps using the single button control.

this is exacty the type of person who is happy with a provari ! somebody who wants a easy to use dependable long lasting mod that will be repaired by the company who made it at a momants notice. its qualitys like that witch make the provari so popular.
its just so happens to be what almost all experianced vapors who want something simple and dependable are looking for.

if your a mad modder then it may not be for you, go look at a dna 20 and the nivel chip and build yourself a mod from a block of solid aluminum.

true i kinda was bashing the provari... honestly it is a great mod one of the best actually. its just not for me man... that one button and the quality of the display turn me down every time i look at it, i mean if i am paying 160$ for the thing at least they could put a better display in in it what the hell it looks like the 3$ led you buy from the draw at radio shack ! just my opinion dont take it to heart.

if i had the extra money to through at a provari, extention tube, and batterys, plus a charger....i would buy this instead....

the cyborg dna 20 mod... solid billet aluminum 5-20 watts down to 1 ohm full beautifull display and can convert to a mechanical mod with low voltage drop simply by unscrewing the dna 20 top cap and putting the solid top cap and bottom button on
i would take that over a provari all day any day. hell i would even take another mech of equal value over the provari.... i just do not like that mod the display and one button make me hate it lol.

now if they came out with a new version that would fire a 1 ohm coil and went 3-6 volts and had a updated display that showed ohms battery lvl voltage wattage and amps all at once without touching anything and had a button to fire and twwo bttons for volts up and down and selection porposes i would definatly buy one .

to each his own but there is no way your getting me to pay 260 for a mod with aluminum threads and a service that consists of "if you have a problem with your cyborg we will help if we can" (stated on the product page).

the provari is built to military standard, not to look pretty. while many dont like the display this type of led has proven to be the most durable and reliable. other high end mods have realized this and use it as well. those oled screens look great just dont ever get them wet.

more buttons means more contacts to worry about. then reliability goes down.
I too think there are somethings that should change on the provari but the electronics isnt one of them. for more features i got a nivel mod but i wont take it out of the house. as it has not proven itself to stand up to heavy abuse.

if you want to go features route wait for the futura or Aerovapes 30 watt vw coming.

I own both mechs and provaris and I think each has its place, you will get more consistent results and a wider range of options with the provari.

many people seem to have forgotten that with a vv/vw if you know how to build the correct coil for the device there is no need for low ohms high wattage to achieve the same results. i can slam out clouds on a 2 ohm coil with my provari just as well as i can with a .8 ohm coil on a mech.

thanks for the vid, Nico! I liked the looks of the REO grand VV,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I am assuming they sell extra bottles and what not???

I also like the Provari,,,,,,,I have thinking to do LOL

Might end up with more than one in the long run :)

Most people end up collecting MODs to an extent.
Some are more afflicted with the "SHINY" bug than others.

So far, and I've been vaping since April 14th of this year, I have:
Two Ego C Twists, a LavaTube 1.5, Vamo V3, Two Provari, and an Omega Clone mechanical. (listed in order of acquisition)

Each has a purpose still. I use the egos when I need to shove something in my shirt pocket when I'm going out for an hour or two and don't want to carry the Vamo or Provari. I carry the LavaTube in my college backpack, because it's light and my books are heavy and it's durable enough for that. If I kill it, it will go in the trash. No big deal. I carry the Provari most of the time now. Sometimes I take the Provari and the Vamo so I can vape two flavors throughout my day without having to change tanks or carry juice. The Omega is my Dripper mech. It stays home. My "better" Provari stays home too. The Provari I tote around all the time is a blem, with a wrap, so it can get dropped, bounced, and pounded without much concern. I'm pretty hard on my devices.

and then i see the cost....:ohmy::ohmy:
$10 less than a reo grand VV

Ehhh.. It's all relative. My vape-budget is what I would be spending on smokes.. $255.00 a month. If I quit vaping, I would more than likely be back to that, or equally expensive nic gum. Granted, I don't try to spend that amount every month, but if I see something I like, I do.. ;) I've been doing it this way for 3 years now.. :)

the problem though is the reo VV uses the buzzpro chipset and needs stacked batteries, (the only thing stopping me from getting one)
whats i think is cool about the skynet is you can always take off the provari for those times you dont want to do BF dripping
no need to have a different battery.

i get ya... i did that for the first 2 years.... still managed to bank a lot of money... it was actually hard to spend as much money as i did when smoking($300+), well withing reason of coarse. like things i actually liked.

but the way i see it... spend an extra $10 and have TWO mods... instead of a really large Provari bottom feeder...:toast:

I LOVE mechanical REO's , but had the VV Grand, and didn't care for it. If I were to pick up another regulated power bottom-feeder, it would have to be this one:

E7 - Sixty's Blue

The E7 is an elegant and sophisticated BoxMod. The Italian design is combined with fine aircraft aluminum and the powder finish is a joy to touch and to see.

The most important E7's feature is being equipped with the USA made variable wattage circuit, the DNA20D by Evolv, which gives great power and delivery stability. With the oled display it is possible to monitor the battery charge, the atomizer impedance, the delivered voltage and the set wattage.

The E7 holds 18650 batteries and gives you high power autonomy, while the bottle inside can contain up to 10 ml juice.
The E7 is perfect for those who want elegance, comfort and high performance. If you have the E7 you will never go back.

I think that there should be something better. What about creating a vape hive mind and task force. Like what is really needed? Compu tech engineer. Electrical engineer. Technical fabrication engineer. Tool maker. And then what? A knowledgeable bunch of vapers. Lay out specs. Fine tune tolerances. Eliminate tolerances. Oh and one of those engineers that make .... look good? Industrial design Engineer?
