Provari passthrough

On my Mini, I end up going through a few batteries a day. I wanted the smaller size but I guess I'm going to end up getting the extension and the larger batteries; big mAh difference from the 18650.

I would buy a pass-thru home kit if it were around $50, maybe $60. It's going to cost me almost that for the extension and a set of new, larger batteries. Plus I'd pay a little extra as a premium for the pass-thru's added convenience (since I would be sitting vaping all day, I really can see myself using it). But at $90+ with the car kit, AC adapter and taxes? Meh. I also did not read anything about a warranty on this. Of course it's far from Chinese junk, made in the USA as well; I would just like to know how they stand behind this product.

I wish someone would post a review here and blow me away lol. I am happy to drop $$$ if it transforms my vaping experience. The Provari and my new RBA have so I am not a tightwad!

I reality, unless you are in a car or near a power source all day long you will swap the batteries and PT a lot during the day. When you get in the car, remove the battery, insert PT and vape. You get out of the car, remove the PT, insert the battery and vape. Repeat for the drive home.

In the car-screw it on-out the car-screw it off-in the car-screw it on-out the car-
screw it off...a real convenient PIA -whats the point? Big battery mods dont need passthrus....

The home kit at $78? You could buy a battery case or cases and a bunch of batteries for that and go for days on a reg or a mini for that price. Your paying to be limited at that point. I say $9.99 and ill buy it for lazy days

I couldnt agree more that the pass through is way over priced. Like someone else said for the car and home benifit it is way to much money for a plug. I love my provari but for what we piad for them in the first place these new plugs should be way lower considering any electronic in this price range comes with a plug included. Just IMO

I am a long haul truck drive and considered it. But I agree with others that at that price I'd rather save my hard earned cash and buy extra batteries or a regular PT for 15-20 (non battery). The only advantage I see is not having to change batteries while driving. But I have yet to have to do that by simply planning ahead. If they want to sell those to anyone there gonna have to drop there price.

Its not even the price that keeps them from selling............with an 18650 battery lasting a full day plus why would you want to be tied down to a power cord....?

Possible answer: it would make the provari a little lighter but I see no need for that mine is only slightly heavy with an aga t on it and that would make the aga impractical. Also for switching batteries, the provari has bat check which makes it easy to plan ahead

I think some peoples' perception of PT's is that people stay plugged in all day long. I just use the PT function as as different kind of charger. Like a phone or MP3 player.

I never liked the idea of carrying batteries and chargers around. I just need a common cord available most anywhere. Would people opt for an Iphone that you have to swap out battery cells and use a separate charger for?

I will just have to see how often I change batteries.

This item is probably was not made in huge quantities so the cost will be high.

If the 18650's do last me a full day without needing a change I will pass on this.

IMO the point is here that any electronic you buy that you can run on bat or by plugging in, comes with the plug. Specially considering the price paid for a provari. Think of it this way. If you buy a cell phone its an item that works on its own or with a plug no? Well this is sim in that way with the exception that plugging in wasn't thought of when first made but now that it is, it shouldn't be that expensive to get the plug. Even if you lose your plug to your electronic device a replacement really never costs more then 20 bucks. I recently had to replace my plug for my laptop and only paid 10 for a new one and yes its oem. This is where I think most have the problem with the price of the plug for the provari.

I'm not getting your point. It's not like you can put the pass thru kit in and use it without a plug so how is that relevant to my iPhone that has to be tied down to a charger when when it dies. That pass thru is all the time. It's like a corded telephone.
