I began having problems a couple of weeks ago with the E8 error message. It would just stop firing in the middle of a vape or not fire at all, and I would have to remove the battery and reinsert it and it would work fine for a little and do it again. I cleaned the battery connections with alcohol and a q-tip etc etc, all the standard ProVape cleaning recommendations, and to no avail, it continued to happen.
It eventually quit working on Sunday, 6-2-13 and I have sent it back. I miss it so much and I bought a Vamo to use in the meantime. I mean, its black, and it even has the blue LED. I even shelled out 11 dollars for 2 day shipping and insurance just to make sure it got there quickly and safely. I treat this thing better than I treat my girl friend, I would never spend 11 dollars on her
(joke).
From what I have read the turnover and return time is fantastic and I should hopefully have it back some time within the next week.
The Vamo is growing on me, but I still consider it my red headed step child, I like it, but I don't love it. Plus, I hate being seen with my Vamo in public, just like a red headed step child.
I hope they just replace the board and don't give me a new one because I have been through many things with that ProVari, I've even been arrested with it. Plus, I have the older version and I like that style much better. Unfortunately they can't touch it up with a little new paint, it needs it.
And as I sit here, sipping on my blue gatorade out of a styrofoam cup, I am reminiscing and dreaming of my ProVari's return. I'm even on the ProVape website building one, as sad and obsessive as some may consider that. I might even buy some nice new tank and an exquisite drip tip for its "Welcome Home Party." One can only hope. Wish me luck, and pray to the Vape Gods for my ProVari's safe return.
