In trying to "save money" on devices, I have spent a nice chunk of change on OK batteries and devices. I could've bought a provari by now, and instead of continuing the search for a "perfect vape" at a low cost, I might just cave and buy a provari. I really want a Joye evic, but I feel like (due to past experience) it is just more money wasted. Is variable wattage as awesome as some say it is? Or is voltage all that matters?
Also, this might be a dumb question, but can you drip with a 510-T atty? So tired of filling up that tiny 1/2 ml cartridge.

I know when I was looking for my first mod it was hard to justify the expense of a Provari. What it came down to for me was the thought "Do I want to have to replace it in 6 or 9 months?" The warranty and ability to get it repaired after the warranty were huge deciding factors for me. The Provari won.

As I have never experienced VW I can't speak about that.

i bought a 510-t as my first starter kit about a month ago. total waste of time and money. i don't think it can be used to drip but can't really tell because i tossed everything but the batteries this morning.

if you're like me then since you are wondering about the Provari now, chances are you won't be happy til you get one. i've been resisting the urge to get one for a month, but after seeing posts of cheaper models literally bursting into flame, it's beginning to look like a good buy.

After owning several mods and still searching for the perfect vape I bought a Provari. I quickly sold everything else and bought a 2nd one. The Provari (for me) was that good. I have never even felt the need to try VW or another device at all for that matter. I have yet to have a vaping need that my Provari hasn't met. I have been using it for over a year. I will add that I constantly drop it and it always keeps working. The Provari is also known to survive a swim. I say go for it.

The device that i owned that got me to pony up the bucks for the Provari was the evic ts nice and all but it feels very cheaply made sure the VW was a nice feature but i always found myself using VV.Dont really care much for VW so IMO it is not at all important to me being as i never used it or would use it.When i held my Provari for the first time i had a vape orgasm. In the end your gonna have to make the decision. Can YOU justify a Provari? i know i did because it will last me for years to come and its a device that's been tried and proven to be arguable the champ of e-cigs made right here in AMURKA!

maybe it is just because I do not have the expertise yet, but the only advantage of VW over VV seems to be that if I change the atomizer the unit adjusts the voltage to give me constant watts. Big deal! I change voltage and/or wattage on a regular basis to adjust to the juice. I find some juices need more watts/volts to give me a satisfying vape, while other juices at the same level of watts/volts taste burnt.

I was in the same boat as you. I had 2 eGo's before I bit the bullet and ordered a ProVari Mini Silver Satin. Once I got mine in the mail, I fell in love. Although I was persuaded pretty hard by my cousin to buy one. He has one and has been vaping on it for almost a year.

Actually was my first experience with vaping was on a provari, so my suggestion is to try and go to a B&M with an evic and try to get your hands on a provari then decide. I went to my local B&M (Brick and Mortar) and they had a iTaste MVP, SVD, & eVic. I held each one and they didn't feel sturdy. I probably sound like a fanboy now, but that is just my experience.

dwallen, you're right! I won't be happy until I try it. I'm a little OCD, so I have actually lain awake at night weighing the pros and cons of buying a provari. Not too many cons but the cost. But since I'm buying disposable batteries (rechargeable, but can't replace battery in case/unit) and constantly buying new devices that aren't cutting it, the provari starts to seem more reasonable by the minute. Even if I don't end up liking it (very unlikely), it will have satisfied my curiosity. The provari seems to achieved a near mythical status with vapers. I wonder if that will ultimately make it disappointing to me? I keep hearing terms like "vape nirvana", and "ultimate vape". Can it live up to all the hype? ;)
