Provari V2.5

I was about to order a silver mini for zap #3 i picked up a couple weeks ago, but hearing about this I might wait, but then again I hate the design so I hope they change it lol, any clue on when these will be available? Maybe I should just get a v2.0 mini as that design is really hideous......

yes the design is god awful, i heard about it on vape team the other day, i dont usually watch it, i tuned in to hear about the jbox debacle (most vape shows give me douche chills) and right as I was about to leave, dimitri was talking about a new provari 2.5 coming out and that they would have one to give away, I just looked up pics of it. I have no clue if the chip will be upgraded, though the only thing I would want in an upgrade of the chip is possibly a higher amp limit, you can keep VW .

IMO as far as the design goes, they should be taking stuff away, not adding stuff, the teardrops on the top/bottom cap are ok, but I think it would look a lot better more minimalistic w/out all the grooves, or just keep it as-is, im ok w/ it as-is (the mini anyways, the gf and I only really use 'varis w/ our zaps and the standard is just too big w/ a zap on it)

But I must say I didn't really care for the teardrops design of the mini either.

I spoke to someone at Provape today regarding the rumors I'm hearing (and the above photo I had already seen here) about them coming out with a version 2.5 in January or February. She told me they would indeed have a new version in January or February, but nothing at all has changed except the design on the body of the Provari and the logo that is stamped on it

That's good to hear. I just ordered a blue body with blue LED today. I would hate to get in on the end of a production line with a new one with updated internals coming out. thanks,

Just ordered a black v2 with blue LED today. I don't like the design either.

I am still holding out hope for future upgrades, but am still quite happy with the 2 v2's that I now own. I can say for certain that I also am not at all fond of the v2.5 body design, and would be hard pressed to buy a "v3.0" (with VW/VT functionality, or whatever is next) if it only was available with this new look.

I prefer the rigid vertical grooves design on my V2s. The V2.5 looks too busy and almost like it's made of plastic?

Plastic Provari....now that would be interesting. A thin stainless internal sleeve, a carbon fiber outer tube, coated with a high polished transparent acrylic. Now that would look slick and make the overall device weight around half while still being about the same diameter.

I'm not a fan of the new look at all. It looks... cheap. Yeah, that's the word I've been looking for. It looks like a cheap knockoff.

It also looks like a kid's toy, or his Mom's toy...

Maybe it's just the picture, and in real world lighting it won't look so ridiculous. But I'm happy I got in before the change. I thought the V2s looked great.

They don't need to change a thing. My V2 is as tough as nails. I work in a mill. I drop it on concrete at least weekly. I don't need it to be pretty. I need it to survive, and that it does....with flying colors. I hope the steel is as thick on this new version. Actually, I hope it's thicker.

Not liking the aesthetic design change at all. I really like my mini for size but even wished it had the sleek vertical lines of my standard sized Provari's.
