Funny, I was listening to that back then as well, had a total rush for Black Sabbath then, hadn't even heard of these groups until the 90's! One of the best albums I've known, even to this day, Nine Inch Nails/ Pretty Hate Machine, came out in '87, but it was late 90's before I'd heard it! I'm mid 40's now, and addicted to Techno!

I love NIN!

Just get a REO and a Provari and be done with it ;)
Fixed it for you.

If I'd found those two devices first, I would have spent a lot less money climbing up the cigalike/eGo/Spinner ladder. I also would have enjoyed vaping a lot more right from the start.

The Spinners/Twists make great backups to backups, though.

I'm 46 and love techno. I always assumed this was based on my love for 80s music.

More colors and a purple LED screen would sell more ProVaris than variable wattage.

She's right, you know... ;)

:headbang: Been getting into Techno a lot lately myself. Really like some of Nine Inch Nails' stuff. I heard "Closer" on one of the alternative rock stations and just had to download it onto my IPod. I can't link the music video here due to ECF TOS rules, but if not familiar with this song or video, do a You Tube search for the "Nine Inch Nails - Closer (Director's Cut}". Warning: Mature and twisted content.

I've seen the Stones, Bowie 3x, Queen 2x, T-Rex, Springsteen, Elton John's Yellow Brick Road tour, Devo, Baryshnikov & Kirkland w/ABT, Nureyev & Fonteyn w/RB...wait, that might not have all been in the 80s.

ETA: I forgot (no surprise) I saw the Song Remains the Same tour. Neener2

I have three versions of that! Yeah it's cool!

Did I mention I'd been around a bit?
