So I've never owned or handled a VV mod before. I did see a lava tube in person for about 10 seconds but never handeled it. I'm thinking if I'm gonna make the jump just get the best & be done with it. I def want a blue led for sure. So with that being said should I get the full size or mini? Any major diff in the 2 of them? Im also undecided on color. Chrome or black would be my only choices, not really into satin. This would only be used at home I'll use my egos at work because I can bet them up & they pretty tough & cheap to replace. I def want to use a nice looking tank with it. Something that looks like its custom made for it
with a cool drip tip.

So give me your thoughts from those of you who own them. Also what kind of
wait time would I be looking at & do they ever go on sale?

If you use it only at home, I'd say get the V2 and two batteries. A battery will last almost a full day (more or less, depending on your usage). You'll be a happy vaper, just like me.

I've never understood the fascination with LED colors and finish, so I just got the standard cheapest model. After you buy it and look at it for a few minutes, it's just another thing that sits on your desk. It's not like you look at it and admire it all day.

+1 dont make "looks" put you on hold and you will be always looking if theres something more nice and the story will just repeat itself lol or you end buying a ton of .... and only using 1 or 2

It's just a thing with me. I really like blue LEDs. Something about red makes me think Pontiac dashboard lol. I know I won't be sitting around staring at it but for the price they cost I may as well get what I want. I'm not in a huge rush to get it, however if 1 becomes available I'll grab it. I noticed on the site all that's available at the moment is the satin. Do they just do these in small batches 1 finish at a time?

The only real difference in the mini vs regular is the mini takes 18350 batts or 18490 with extender and the regular takes 18490 or 18650 with extender . I like both for each reason . I love the mini for is super small size and tear drop design and i love the regular when i want to throw a 18650 in it and vape it all day long. The satin finish really did grow on me and looks great . Its also hard to scratch. The chrome however brings the Provari to a whole new level of luxury feel.

As far as other finishes on the mini it just came out so they are releasing new finishes little by little .The regular provari always came in all finishes regularly available.

Start with a full size Provari/ then you can add a mini..........

I'd do the opposite, actually.. go with a mini + 18490 extension cap, and that puts you pretty close to a full-size standard provari.. and then if you want to go "mini mode", you just swap extension caps and batteries, and then you've got your mini-sized provari.

If you only plan on using it at home, I'd say get the standard Provari. I'm sure you'll take it out of the house at some point because your ego just aint gonna cut it. You'll get spoiled real quick. So if there's a chance of that happening, go with the mini and a extended end cap. I can get a close to full a day out of a 18490 and 6-7 hours out of a 18350 on my Mini. It's no problem carrying an extra 18350 battery in your pocket, it's half the length of a tube of chapstick and only a tab bit wider.

I like the satin, but if I had to pick between black and chrome...........Black. Oh and don't let anyone talk ya out of the blue LED, It looks sick on the satin black.

I wouldn't buy the mini again, but I chain vape. We have a mini satin w/blue and a standard black satin w/blue.

We've never even used the smallest battery for the mini.

My husband uses the mini with the 18490.

I use the regular with the extension cap and 18650.

Provari, standard size, black satin, blue LED is the way to go. I'd also add the extension cap.

When you find out how superior it vapes, you will want to use it.

My lavatubes don't compare, let alone an ego.

Thats the great thing about the Provari . You really cant go wrong with any choice and more then likely youll end up with both down the road lol. The 18350 i really like on the mini especially if i go somewhere ill be stealth vaping. Usually if i know im only going to be out for only a couple hours ill use the 18350 . If im out all day the 18490 is great expecially with a tank since its just a little bit smaller then the standard with 18490. If im home and lazy the 18650 in the regular i go with. Even with the 18650 though its still small enough to use anytime but since i have a mini i use that more now. Since i have a bunch of 18350's a lot of the time i will just use 18350's in the mini's for a few days at home then go a few days with 18490's .I usually have both vari's running everyday anyway. The main reason i like using the mini more is just because i like the new tear drop design on the tube though.
