I wouldn't worry too much about that - I'm sure it is powder-coated paint. Provari's have a reputation for high quality builds. I would pose that question directly to the Provari site.

I'm having some email exchange with Provape at moment. I'll definitely bring this up. But the point of this thread is to gather information on those that are being used regularly for a month or so.

This thread worried me.

I visited the Vermillion River ejuice store directly a few weeks ago, and the owner there has two Provari's. A satin silver one, and a black one. The SS was over two years old and looked brand new. The black one he had only had for a few months and the paint was scraping off and looked pretty beat up. I told him that I was thinking about getting a black mini to go along with my satin silver V2, and he strongly advised that I just stick with the Satin Silver.

I think these new colors look great, but I would be hesitant to carry them around everyday for fear of scratching up the paint.
