I am looking at buying the provari mini. I currently have an ego-C twist and never had a PV before. (Ego-C Twist loses battery power after about 1-2 seconds)
The mini comes in a lot of colors. White, Blue, Silver etc.

Everyone seems to say the silver one will not scratch or you will not see scratches because of the silver color.

Does anyone own the White or Blue or black provari mini and has had it for a long time? Does the color wear off and can you see scratches on the color?

I also have a question about the BLUE color on the provape website. I think it looks like a light blue and I have seen pictures elsewhere of a darker blue provari mini.. is there a way to buy a darker blue?

Also does anyone have a provari mini they are looking to sell? I applied for the classifieds but waiting for approval

Thanks
Dan

I have the regular sized satin blue Provari. I'll attempt to answer your question, as Provape only sells one color of blue for both the Provari and Mini.

The reason the blue can appear to be different shades is because of photography lighting. The colored Provari's have only been offered since August of this year, so unless some have been exposed to some physical abuse, there likely won't be many stories of major scratches. The colored finishes are a carokote paint, a finish that has been used successfully for guns and shown to wear well. There is a thread on this sub-forum devoted to the topic. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...powder-coat-what-finish-colored-provaris.html

I have dropped mine a couple of times on asphault. Not a glitch to be seen. I've since made a rubber sleeve for my Provari from a motorcycle dirt bike hand grip. I used an exacto knife to cut windows for the activation button, LED display, and bottom end to allow a finger to push the Provari out of the sleeve. It fits rather snug, and the textured surface feels really good to the touch. There's also a thread here on the particular motorcycle grip to buy should you decide to go that route. It was only $9. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...expensive-rubber-provari-protective-grip.html

I found the correct grips at the first local Honda motorcycle shop I went to. If you have trouble finding them, this is the brand used: http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/2/9/192/4778/ITEM/Scott-MX-II--MX-Grips.aspx

A lot of people are getting Serenity Gear leather sleeves, holsters, and lanyards for their Provari's. http://www.serenitygear.com/
My buddy Chohan had a particularly nice leather sleeve made for his Mini Provari. You can view it here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo.../335534-im-not-saying-aliens.html#post7309104

You have no idea how much I want to post "Just buy a xxxxxxxx" (use you imagination to fill in the blanks). Like the Provari fanboys do in threads about other PV's. lol

I'll do it for you. Just buy a Provari.

Love my mini. I have a matte black. Had it for 6 months. I have 1 scratch on it but you'd have to pry it from my cold, dead hands to see it. It is not easy to see. Used daily as my GoTo device. I have acquired plenty of other devices costing much less and some much more but the Provari is built like a tank. I've dropped it, rolled it, kicked it (with my foot). It rolls around in my SUV Cup holder while I'm driving. Considering I'm a bull in a china shop, I'm surprised it doesn't show more wear. You can probably just pick a color of your liking and enjoy.

What's the problem? I'll do it. I bought a Provari Mini on Black Friday, received it Monday, screws falling out on Wednesday. Under 48 hours. A friends Provari Mini bought the same day lasted 96 hours before the battery post fell out. I'm going to get some of the new Ego VV/VW convertibles that go from an 18350 VV/VW mini to an 18650 VV/VW, perfectly matched for $40. They're here:
eGo Variable Volt/Watt APV V2 (Only Body) [D-B4 APV] - $39.00 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

I own a Provari, I'm NOT a fan.

If you are not happy with the product, just return it. If you are really sincere in bringing up your issue, go to Provape sub-forum and post there. Not go around the site and complaining at the wrong sub-forums.

I know that bashing the provari in the provari forum is not a good thing.
I was not asking for your input on what mod to get. I guess if you had a problem with your provari you could have asked the company to fix it or get you a refund. I do not have a provari mini yet but you sound really annoying. Go away to a different forum section
