Hey guys and gals, I'm going to be ordering the Provari in about a week, I've noticed provape have the v2.5 now and though it seems a lot of people dont like the new design, I do. This will be my first Provari and I just wanted to know of any types of tanks, rba's, clearomizers ect. that dont fit. Right now I have a Vector vari volt from vaporbeast.com which is a young june model and is very forgiving when it comes to using a variety of tank type attys due to the deep and wide well. Is the provari as forgiving? Please list any thing you know of

One should get a 510 to 808 shorty adapter if using 808 or 901 threaded cartomizers or atomizers. Any 510 to 808 adapter will work, but the shorty will only add a mm or so to the height (t will look better when using a tank).

If using a 510 atomizer, one should get a 510 to 510 adapter in order to use a drip shield.

What exactly is a drip shield, and what does it do?

A drip shield goes over an atomizer and is meant to collect any juice that might leak if you over fill it. It was made for a 901 that has a side hole but will also work with a 510 using a 510 to 510 adapter (to catch juice that might leak out of the bottom hole). I'm pretty new to dripping and I love them. I think it's much better to use a drip shield as opposed to having a bunch of juice running down the side of your mod and hand.

You will only need a drip shield if you plan on dripping. You will also need a dripping atomizer. Essentially like a short cartomizer without the polyfill material. You drip a few drops of juice into the atomizer and vape it for several hits, then must refill again to vape.

It's said to produce the best flavors from your juices, but I found it messy and time consuming. Personal preference.

I used to feel that way, but lately all I seem to do is drip.

Thanks for posting this. I was trying to figure out exactly what dripping entailed and this summed it up well for me. I think I'll be going the cart or tank route as this just seems like a lot of work.

I use cartomizer tanks 99% of the time. All of my favorite juices are in cartomizer tanks, so I have no need to drip them. You may find dripping useful if you order a bunch of sample size juices and don't want to waste cartomizers. Alternatively, you can pull the polyfill out of a used cartomizer, but it's not as good as a bona fide atomizer.
