I picked up the provari 3 or 4 months ago on a semi-impulse buy with a bonus check. Prior to the Provari I had gone through 2 or 3 cig-a-likes, a few ego type batteries, and an MVP.

No looking back. No regrets. and I'm hardly the type to engage in buyer confirmation bias.

Not saying you can't quit without a provari. Just saying it made it alot easier for me. and if I had ONE thing to do over it would be to skip all of the little steps I took getting to the provari.

I just bought two. Waiting for delivery.
Think about ot though, it is repairable, you mail it in they fix it, come on now.

If its too expensive look at the vv3 and mvp2.
If you dont want those, get the provari.

Thats my opinion.
I have 2 itaste vv3, 1 mvp 2, and on the way... 1 provari and i provari mini.
I will only have to charge batteries one day a week!

It's expensive, indeed...

Any ProVari owner will tell you yes, it is... Myself included... If you have the money to spend, it's worth every penny. The quality is second to none. I honestly can't think of a better built regulated mod. There are some newcomers to market that are of comparable build quality, and comparable (and some would say better) specifications, but they are also of comparable price. For me to say this to you is just words. For you to hold one in your hand, that's when you know for sure you're holding one solid piece of finely crafted American Steel.

That said, there are a lot of cheaper mods that do work... And some work well... I just prefer the ProVari for a number of aesthetic and technological reasons that I'd just as soon not discuss here... LoL, those discussions always get threads closed.

So the quick answer... Yes, it's worth it

What? the Provari is expensive? Compared to what? I've spent more money for two of my rba's then I have for a Provari. The Provari is inexpensive in contrast. And for the build you get, well worth the price of admission. SvoëMesto is another fine regulated devices worth checking out.

There has been no known hype printed about the Provari. Most is just the facts. Do you need a Provari to enjoy a good vape? No. Would you prefer the Provari over most other regulated mods? Probably, unless you were able to get the Wizard Evolved, or even the Apprentice. Though the Provari is less expensive than those two.

I thing seems to be true no matter what you buy, you get what you paid for.

And herein lies the names of those devices which are of comparable quality and technical achievement to the ProVari. The only difference, IMO, is ProVape designed everything about the ProVari in house, to include the chipset. The SvoëMesto Semovar and Wizard Evolved / Apprentice Evolved are using the Nivel and DNA-20 chipsets, respectively. And they are of very limited availability. You can pretty much get any ProVari size/color combination at any time. Except maybe the Polished Stainless, those can sometimes be out of stock...

I've used the provari v2 and can say it was a great vape I've got the evic myself and found the evic seems comparable and it's cheaper but people say it's a bit fragile though I've dropped it a few times with no problems

I have 2 eVic's myself and I think they're great (had them around 6 months now). But, ordered the Provari Zombie Edition yesterday for my Christmas present. Verdict still out, just wanted to give the eVic it's due credit IMO. :)

Just read my signature.

Not only does the Provari have the best build quality and one of the best processors on the market, the company stands behind the product for life. 1 year warranty, and thereafter reasonable repair fees for life. You won't find that with any other VV mod.

The vast majority of mods are produced in China, which only provide a short warranty and then offer absolutely no repair support thereafter. You'll be forced to purchase another mod. Few Chinese-made mods will live to see their first birthday due to their lesser quality of both body builds and inner electronics. The original Provari's are now 3 years old and the vast majority of those are still in daily use.

Is the provari worth the money or is it just hype????

Is a Cadillac STS worth the money? How about a Prius? Or a Porterhouse steak?

A ProVari is worth the money if you need, appreciate, and want one. A ProVari is worth it if you want to get something that works and be done with.

But a ProVari is only 1/2 the setup. You still have to put something good on top of it. A ProVari will not instantly turn your entire setup into gold, but it will let a good setup work to its full potential.

I bought a ProVari specifically because I wanted a Z-Atty Pro on top of it. It has been flawless and I love the American engineering, the warranty, and the tech support.

The base ProVari is only $159. There are many more expensive mods out there. The Wizard Evolved Titanium is $550. Worth the money? Some people feel it is. I want one for Christmas but not holding my breath.

I would have to say yes it is worth it. I have gone through 6 mods since I started vaping in August, they all started having problems a week into using.
I have had mine for about 2 weeks no problem at all and if there is I can just mail it in and it will be as good as new.
I figured the cost outward the price if getting a new mod every couple of weeks

I really had to chime in on this thread because I just got my first Provari in the mail yesterday.

It's a well-built device. It's solid. The threads are buttery smooth. It is built for one function, and it does that very well.

Is it worth it? Browse through the forums and look at some of the issues folks have with other mods. I'll say yes, it is absolutely worth it.
