I wouldn't spend the money just to have a povari I'm probably going to get a lot of flack for this post but I think their is a lot better technology coming out and up for a whole lot less! I suggest before you buy anything, really compare the specs and limitations of what ever your choosing.

We need to remember: Provari is just the "battery". A vape is a whole lot about the delivery device.

the reason for a Provari is you know that under your delivery device is a *SOLID* driver.

Sort of like a car......you need a good engine....but when your A/C goes out, or your radiator overheats, you have a miserable ride.

For me, I need 4 wheel drive. That means it all has to come together: battery power, delivery device, juice and easy of use.
Finding the *right combination* is what we all spend our time and $$ on in the end, isn't it?

Since the MVP has an internal battery, you would need batteries and a charger with the ProVari. The ProVari starter kit comes with those and a Nautilus. I do not know about the coils that come with the Nautilus, but t he newer BVC coils fit the full size version and work very well IMO. Since a new version of t he Provari is coming out soon, you can find deals on t he current version, which is 2,5, in the classies here on ECF, or the clearance section on ProVape's websidt.

ProVari is a high quality device. The technology utilized in rendering accurate voltage control is vastly superior to many products, as is the construction. Much like the practically anything else, with quality comes price. If you want a Bently (ProVari) buy one, if you want a Cadillac get that...as for me, I prefer the Buick (Vamo - destined to go down in history as one of the most popular and bang for the buck priced device on the market during the early stages of vaping.) But by the way have you seen the new Buick. (For real I don't drive a Buick, prefer BMW, Corvette, Ford Diesel Truck and Harley Davidson.)

But once again it comes down to just cuz I like don't mean u got 2.

I suggest before you buy anything, really compare the specs and limitations of what ever your choosing. Compare it to some of the newer technology chips and see what they actually offer. Some chips actually get upgrades that can be flashed to them. See what they offer and compare. I've never been much on buying something just for the name. I don't care about that. What I do care about is the meat and potatoes of the product and what it has to offer me and my vaping style and what limitations it has. What will I be able to do and not do with the product. If you ever get into building coils you might also look at the resistance limitations .what will it run? What will it not run. Those are just some things that matter to me. I'd rather have a good unit that's less restrictive. It just depends on what YOUR needs are. But know your product and don't just buy for a name. That's my 2cents.

just curious.... but can you tell me these devices so i can look into them?

Thanks!

I'm just not going to be a person who rebuilds stuff. I get peeved enough when I have to mess too much with my Vision Spinner II. I'm a knitter in a big way up to and including designing. That's where I dig in and get to the heart of stuff. I want to have a great experience without too much fuss and a battery that won't conk out on me after half a day of normal use. The extended warranty doesn't hurt!

I have to agree with heylikethis
Took my Provari/R91 offshore tuna fishing last month. To my horror I accidently dropped it in the live bait tank! When I finally got it back out of the tank I took the battery out and began to flush out the tube with fresh drinking water. When I got home I flushed it out some more with warm water from the tap..shook out the excess water and blew it dry with a hair dryer. Popped in fresh battery thinking the worse. But to my amazement the blue display lit right up and it works great! I believe the nano coating used in the military grade electronics protected the board. Indeed provape has built one tough PVD. :)

I honestly don't want to spend the money on a provari. I just want something of good quality but I don't want to get all the fancyness of building g coils and stuff.

You don't have to rebuild coils to use a provari. Also, if you don't want to spend the money for it, don't. I only got one because it was my first love in the vaping world. It's worth the money to me. It's accurate, tough, and if it does mess up, Provape will fix it for you.
That said, if you're enjoying your MVP, vape on and be happy.

You shouldn't get flack, Sis. If it doesn't fit your vaping style, I absolutely wouldn't get one. As stated earlier though, I'm one of the fortunate ones who is very happy anywhere from 8-11 watts. I'm happy with my toppers, and happy with my hardware. And I'm MOST happy that I can buy a mod if I like it, and not worry about how high it can go.

And I guess that I'm happy I started vaping when I did. I know myself well enough to know that if I'd just started recently, I'd have a new mod every time something with a higher watt capacity came out.

So ultimately, I guess I'm just happy. Queue Pharrell...

Haha I know the feeling. I'm super happy with my unkillable 1st gen Provari.(Well, I did send it off to get the v2 upgrade). With my Kayfun Nano at 12 watts I can't vape in the car, because exhaling means losing sight of the road, so I am beyond satisfied with it.

I did just get myself a $35 Nemi Clone just to try out a mech, and it's really nice, but I ended up Kicking it. Call me spoiled, I like my regulated power. I also have a Reo Mini 2.1 in a drawer feeling abandoned. Okay, way off topic now.

OP, if you want something that will last without issue, and don't care about sub-ohming or ultra-high wattage(does anyone remember when us 12 watt vapers were considered high-wattage), then the Provari is worth it. On the rare chance you might need work done, they will fix it, clean it inside and out, and have it back in a week or less. Even outside warranty there is only a small fee.

I definitely got what I paid for when I bought my V2 Provari. Top notch performance, rugged military grade electronics, and a1 year warranty from Provape.(optional 2yr)
My sister went the cheap route with the LavaTube..one month later the fire button wouldn't work..she took it back to the B&M local shop where she bought it but they said sorry, we can't help you.
She wasted about $70 and was upset! But after talking it over with me she ordered a Provari Mini in the new gold finish w/green display to replace the broken lavatube and then wished she got it from the get-go... She is very pleased and uses it everyday with no issues or problems..

Hi all,

A quick question here regarding the new provari p3.

Im used to vaping my RBA ( russian 91 ) at 0.7 - 0.8 ohms, which the P3 is able to support. Question is, there are limitations to the output in this device. For example, if I vape at 0.8ohm at 4.4v , this would yield a 5.5A and 24.2watt, which clearly exceeds the limitation.

Therefore am I not able to vape a 0.8ohm build at 4.4V ? Or anything that exceeds the limitation stated in the device's manual. ( Im stating anything above 0.7ohm )

Thank you.
