I went on Home when it first came out and it was mildly entertaining. Mostly due to the fact of a bunch of guys cyber hitting on me.

Home was and probably still is ridiculous in that sense. You have a bowling room full of people trying to bowl. Youre sitting, waiting your turn, and some guy walks directly up to you with his crotch in your face and starts humping or dancing... i have a male avatar.

And the worst part is youre in the middle of a game of bowling, so you have to sit there watching this guy, trying to ignore him...

I have Uncharted 1 and I haven't even finished it yet. I don't know how people can play through games so fast. One of my games, Persona 3 (PS2), I've played off and on for a year and still haven't finished it! I'm playing FF XIII right now and that'll probably take forever to finish, too. The only game I really play online is Rock Band 2 & Beatles Rock Band. I drum and always get my ... kicked or no one wants to play with me because I don't play on expert.

I didnt finish UC1 either. I did finish UC2 though and you can believe the hype. Its impressive... solid.

I finished UC1. Absolutely loved it! I want to play UC2 badly, but with the twins on the way i have to watch where I spend money. Maybe we should set up a ECF game trade?

oh, and home has dramatically improved. almost every single room has some type of mini game in it, and they fixed the views so when you're doing something, deputy dawg can't dry hump you and get in your way. They even have texas hold'em tables!

Except for the rare occasion when I HAVE TO HAVE IT NOW, my rule for buying games is; ill wait 2-12 months to catch a new copy of a game ive always wanted and get it for a good price. I just picked up Folklore for $15 the other day. Its a remarkable game and world.

Being a pc gamer who happens to own a ps3, i know patience. Im used to buying new copies of games that are over a year old. Im on a limited budget so i gotta smart shop. But like i said there have also been many times where ive sprung $60 for the latest release. $50 for pc games too. But only on those special occasions.

Demon's Souls was one of those occasions and if any one of you have got just one drop of hardcore gamer in you, you should try and find a copy.... and buy it. :2c: 350+ hours for me.

But i dont do the whole used games thing. Doesnt bother me if yall want to set up a trade thingie.

/blog sorry

On the off-chance there are any Civilization: Revolution players thinking Civ5 might be even better, forget it. It's like Civ4 with better graphics and hex tiles. If you're not a Civ fanatic, it's almost as dull as Sim City. If you are a Civ fanatic, then you already own it and love it.

The most interesting thing about Civ5 (to me) is that they also released FREE software to assist mod developers. There's a SDK for C++ programmers, and a suite of tools for people who want to mod the XML, graphics, etc. There is also a map builder and/or generator that I understand is the best thing available at any price. I played around with it a bit, and it's pretty cool.

If I knew anything about that other stuff, I'd be neck deep in it, building a souped-up version of CivRev.
