PT2 restricted air flow?

I've cleaned the wicks and did the dry burn. Everything looks good. But I get about half the air flow that I do with my T3s. Amy ideas? Did a search and didnt come up with anything.

Also check to make sure the holes on the bottom are clear. The ones on the 510 connector... (poke a pin through them.. I've had them junk up and make them hard to draw on before)

The PT2 is fine on the ego battery but very restricted on the Vamo. All my T3s's are fine on the Vamo and the ego.

Order an original Protank Base and swap them out. Discount Vapers may still have some.

Original holes are 2x larger than PT2 holes.

I can't remember but I think if you loosen the tank a hair it might hit better. Read something about pt1 or 2 had this. My works like a champ.

Yeah, I loosen my PTs and PT2s on my vamo and I get plenty of air.

I backed it off and it was still restricted. I'll order an original base and see if that works

Mods that are designed to have things (tanks) sit flush have this issue this $3 part will solve your problem on any mod with a tank with air holes on the 510 connection.

Reason is when they make the bases for these tanks they drill the air hole closer to the threads instead of closer to the tank and the holes don't sit high enough to breath when flush with your mod.

Found the problem. Looking at the PT2 from the bottom, I noticed the white seal at the bottom of the coil was bad and blocking the air flow. Put in another coil, problem solved

The 2 PT2s I have are really airy with the stock bases. I think all of these air issues are related to defective coil-heads, rather than design of the PT2.

Probably more to people getting heads that (Fit) rather than Made by - Kanger

That is why I generally purchase 5 Packs in the original packaging.

They actually sell knockoffs? I got 3 5-packs at Sun Vapers for only $17- in original packaging with Kanger seal. I can't imagine bobos being any cheaper. Is it the real ones that are airy or the fakes?

I had the same problem. Turned out I had the head screwed on way too tight.

Original PT head is Airy
Original Evod is Tighter - Smaller center opening and thicker lower coil head for reduced air flow
New Protank/Evod head looks to be more to the PT style. Haven't gotten any to compare yet.
