Unlike many people, I would prefer a puff counter. It could help fight chain vaping by letting me know to put it down after so many puffs. A vibrate function or maybe even a auto shut off after 15 puffs or whatever a average cigarette would give you. You can also track how long fluid lasts with different gear or settings. I see people refer to puff counters as bells and whistles but I think it should be one of the more important things to have. If you never want to quit vaping and have no need to track how many puffs per tank you are getting then I can see not wanting one. If your goal is to not only quit smoking cigarettes but to also get off nicotine and stop vaping then a puff counter could be of significant help. I hope to see more development in this area.
Well if you're gonna go there add a built in tazer to act as a deterrent...
What I find puzzling about newbies obsessing over puff counts is - you likely never gave it a second thought how many puffs were in a cigarette before you started vaping. Admittedly, when I started I too wondered about the whole issue of "how much vaping = how much smoking." Then I just got on with living and let it go.
Following - not obsessing - over the average ml's you are using per day or week will give you enough of an idea about what you are doing. Trying to change a puff count from 962 to 875... that's waaaay over thinking things.
